Your own little piece of beach front heaven.

Everything about these super Beach Huts is brilliant. Very clean, modern, absolutely everything you will need for your stay, clever storage - even enough room underneath for paddleboards & bikes. Little touches like dog treats, Dorset Tea, milk in the fridge & biscuits all make you feel really welcome.

All you need is beach towels, clothes & food - but even then Urban Reef which is great for food & drinks is just a 5 minute walk AND they deliver! THE best views of uninterrupted sandy beach, the Purbecks and the Isle of Wight, are visible from the double & single bed downstairs. Lying in bed watching & listening to waves should be on everyones to do list.

Great for family fun. Perfect for romantic couples!

Stunning in the sun. Cosy in the cold - heating, hot showers & v good double glazing (so good in fact that we could hear nothing outside when shut, we opened the little window above the door so we could hear the waves.)

Even if you are local, they are worth a weekend stay, be tourists in your own town, we are from Bournemouth, stayed Fri - Mon and felt like we had been on holiday for a week! Why bother with all that traffic to travel to a holiday town when we have the best on our doorstep?

Near enough to get to the town centre, or Southbourne or Hengistbury Head - or just totally chill and stay right there!

We would definitely recommend and visit again!

User

Worth every penny. It was just the break we needed. The lodge was so comfortable & we had everything we needed. Kitchen was so modern & lashings of hot water for the shower. We had a lot of fun & walked for miles. The weather was brilliant and have never slept so well in years. Falling asleep to the sound of waves is the best in the world. The lodges are beautiful at night & so cosy. We loved every minute of it & so glad we got to try them out. Have never stayed so close to the sea. The best thing was having the beach to ourselves when everyone had gone home. Thankyou so much. Canโ€™t wait to come back again.

User

What a great way to escape from every day life. The Lodges have everything you need to enjoy this unique experience and the team are always on hand and very helpful. Our favourite part was waking up, opening the bifold doors to the sound of the waves and watching the kids run down onto the beach. Amazing experience...

User

Weโ€™ve just had the most amazing weekend at the Lodges, everything was perfect including the weather! So cleverly designed - compact and comfortable with everything you need at hand. The location is fabulous overlooking a quieter stretch of beautiful sandy beach with restaurants within walking distance if you do decide to venture out.

We felt completely relaxed and found it very hard to tear ourselves away! We will definitely be back in the future.

User

Well, what can I say? Absolutely fantastic! To go to bed and wake up with the most fabulous views, listening to the waves rolling onto the beach, a cosy piece of heaven on a stunning piece of coast, couldnโ€™t have asked for a better Christmas week. Especially after a difficult 6 months, this break has managed to do me the world of good. I feel relaxed and reenergised and ready to take on 2018. The thoughtful little extras were a very welcome surprise and though sad to have had our last morning there today, will certainly be booking again. Thank you so much for such amazing week!! โค๏ธ

We were bowled over from the moment we arrived. If you want beachside accommodation, then this is it. As far from "kiss me quick" as you can imagine, the beach is perfectly manicured, sandy, and goes on, traffic free, for miles in either direction.

The row of 15 beach lodges will delight you. They look so pretty in the daytime, and lit up at night too. The deck is large and elevated so the views are fab - Isle of Wight one way, Purbeck the other and nothing but sand and sea in between. Fabulous!

As soon as we got inside, we were completely delighted. It's such a beautifully done interior, Miami Beach-house style, really modern and clean. And deceptively spacious. Really well equipped too, there was nothing we needed that wasn't provided - all important bottle opener included!

The whole of the front opens, concertina-style, so if the weather is kind (we were lucky!) it's completely perfect. But it's so bright with the full glass frontage and blinds that mean privacy when you want it and light when you choose, even if it is cold or rainy, you can take in the surroundings in a warm environment.

There is so much to do, we barely ventured from the vicinity of our Lodge, not even making it into Bournemouth town centre. There was beach yoga on the Sunday at 10am, a water sports hire and school just down the prom, crazy golf on the pier and an exercise trail along the promenade, and a really great seafront restaurant, Urban Reef and Wood Oven Pizza, 5 minutes walk away - we couldn't even fit all that in! We also took bikes and cycled for miles - flat and safe and easy.

We very rarely visit places twice, but we had such a great time at the Beach Lodge that we have already booked a return visit in 2018.

User

We had a wonderful week end stay with my team, last week. The place is simply stunning, the facilities and the location too. We managed to do a party with few people and it work really good, the lodge is like a proper house and many people from our team said "we would love to live here".

Thank you again Kim and the Beach Lodges team for the support, everything was perfect.

User

We had a wonderful long weekend celebrating my husbands 30th, the staff decorated the lodge beautifully and even left a lovely Dorset apple cake ๏ฟฝ

it was lovely going to sleep listening to the waves and waking up to the gorgeous view. Everything you needed for your stay was included and they even left us a little gift before we left.

The staff were very friendly and the lodge was spotless when we arrived.

Would recommend to friends and family.

User

These are fantastic looking and beautifully laid out. Great food next door at Urban Reef/Wood Oven. Fully equipped with everything you or your family need. Wake up, flick the blinds and enjoy a cup of tea in bed looking straight out across golden sands to Old Harry and the Isle of Wight. Kitchen, shower, up to six beds, dining table and decked veranda/balcony. Laundry facility too. Sat with the patio doors folded right back and the sun streaming in you can turn March weather into July - it's almost like magic.

The perfect winter break with friends... and Bruno the dog!

We're local - from the Purbecks - and invited some good friends from Bedfordshire down to join us for a weekend in February. I didn't tell my husband much about the lodges so he didn't really know what to expect. He thought they were going to be a similar size to the standard beach huts and that we'd be cramped and cold. I hadn't even told him about the mezzanine level so I think he pictured the four of us top-to-toe on the floor. He was genuinely amazed when we arrived. Not only was there plenty of room and everything you'd expect from a self-catering experience, the lodges looked really inviting with warm lighting, a TV and heating.

Our friends arrived late on the Friday night and, after a long day at work, immediately felt refreshed and liberated as we walked their dog, Bruno, on the sand directly in front of the lodges.

It wasn't far to walk from the cars parked on the clifftop so we could stock up on food and drink and carry it to the lodges in a couple of trips. On the second night, we ordered a Deliveroo. It gave us the chance to try cuisine from an independent Mexican restaurant in Bournemouth, the WiFi performed perfectly allowing us to place the order without a hitch and it arrived swiftly straight to the door of our lodge.

Our first full day was rainy but there was quite a lot to keep us amused along the seafront. We skimmed stones from the shore, walked along the clifftop to town and back along the prom, exploring Boscombe Pier on the way and picking up a bag of chips for the traditional seaside experience.

The sun came out for our second day - the perfect weather for a revitalising and life-affirming morning run along the prom down to Hengistbury Head. Bruno came too and, despite being a spritely chap, almost needed carrying to the car after all his exertions. He was happy and comfortable in our dog-friendly lodge and its self-contained nature meant that we didn't bother our neighbours.

We played board games in the evenings and laughed a lot. Our friends went back feeling like they'd been away for weeks and we never dreamed we'd feel so chilled so close to home.

I'm sure the lodges are absolutely unbeatable in the summer months, with decking in front of each lodge, unparalleled sea view and BBQ facilities. However, they shouldn't be underestimated for a winter getaway - we completely shook off the January blues and found a renewed love for our beloved coastline.

User

Thank you for a very, very special weekend! The beach lodge exceeded expectations - cosy & warm, exceptionally high standard of everything - the finishing touches are amazing! We weathered storm โ€˜Ericโ€™! Barely noticed him as we cosied in atvthe lodge. Treated to stunning sunrises and sunsets. We will definitely do this again!

User

Stumbled across the Beach Lodges one Sunday whilst out for a walk. Had a show around, fell in love and booked a 3 day break on line. The weather this weekend has been pretty wild but the Lodge is warm and cosy. We have walked for miles but both of us couldn't wait to get back to our 'home on the beach" with a fantastic view. Love, love, love it here- laying in bed listening to the waves breaking on the beautiful sandy beach. Don't really want to say too much good stuff about the Lodges otherwise everyone will want a share of our paradise!!

User

Spotted these whilst walking by one weekend and thought wow that would be a great spot for a weekend break....and it is! Well thought out layout, compact but plenty of space for my husband and I and our pup Molly. Book it you wonโ€™t regret it!

User

Really impressed with the lodges. Situated right at the bottom of Boscombe Manor Zig Zag and a 7-10 minute walk from Boscombe Pier where there is the Harvester, Urban Reef eatery, a Pizza bar and a few other places to grab food & refreshments if you don't fancy cooking etc.

Each lodge is a fully equipped self contained unit right on the beach. The duplex layout gives a double and single bed upstairs (with a built in child stair gate at the top and bottom if needed) and storage cupboard opposite the double bed.

Downstairs there is a single bench which quickly converts into another single bed and adjacent seating which converts into another double bed.

The main dining table lifts out to create more floor space and additional chairs can be found in the cupboard. We kept the table up and there was still plenty of space.

There is a tall cupboard for hanging space and an on-suite bathroom downstairs with toilet, washbasin and shower. The shower was really warm too! Linen and towels are provided with duvets for the bed and I noticed additional blankets in a drawer. (Additionally within the block there are public loos which are locked late at night and opened early the next day). There are also laundry facilities onsite.

The kitchen area is fully equipped and has a fridge (with small freezer compartment at the top). 2 ring hob with extractor fan & microwave. A kettle, Cutlery, plates, bowls etc are all provided.

There are couple of heated towel rails which double up as heating.

There are sockets with USB points and a TV. Free Wifi is also provided with the passcode given on arrival.

On the terrace there was a small occasional table and 2 deckchairs. The doors from the lodge were bifold.

Each unit is accessed by its own staircase again, with suitable locking for child safety.

There's a small platform underneath to lay bikes, paddle boards, beach gear stuff and if necessary could be padlocked to the stilts of the terrace.

Didn't utilise the free parking space offer but believe a voucher for parking is included (this would be back near to Boscombe pier) and then complimentary use of the land train is included on arrival and departure days.

A small arrival amenity pack is provided along with a personalised welcome note which I thought was very welcoming.

Communal BBQ's are being installed every couple of lodges - currently work in progress but look to be completed very soon.

If I was asked to give 1 piece of feedback, it would be to install blackout blinds but this certainly wouldn't discourage me going back.

I would definitely recommend these fantastic lodges for any weather or season. We are local to Bournemouth and used the stay for a girly 'chillax' weekend but have since looked into hiring a lodge for a week as part of a staycation with the family!

Great work Bournemouth Lodges Team!

User

Pure bliss nestled in the Bournemouth Cliffside.

These lodges are completely self contained, and equipped with all the essentials necessary for an amazing British escape... every little detail has been thought of, from hand soap to dog bowls to your own set of deck chairs!

Child friendly and dog friendly, you can fall asleep to the roar of the waves and wake up to breath taking views across the sea. These are set a bit higher than the promenade, so you're tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy beach and yet still retain the incredible scenery. You can literally see for miles.

The lodges are incredibly comfortable and have been furnished really well.

The accessible lodge is really well thought out as well, with ramped access and an extra large, high spec shower room.

The staff are extremely helpful, and no request is too small. We've never met such wonderful hosts. Fab, fab, fab holiday.

User

Myself and kids absolutely loved staying in here, stunning views, the lodge its self was perfect! Everything you could need and more provided, clean and modern and very comfortable. Having a balcony to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine whilst enjoying the sea view was amazing, would love to come back again!

User

I stayed in lodge 10 with my family for the weekend. As soon as you arrive at the seafront lodges you can't help but relax. With the sound of the waves in the background, and the sun on the balcony to the front of the lodge, these lodges couldn't be in a better location. Near enough to the pier and a lovely restaurant, but far enough to be tranquil and feel remote. That small stretch of beach felt like it was just for us for the weekend.

The lodge itself is very cleverly designed - small and cosy yet with everything you need and it never felt cramped. I slept better than I have in months and waking up to the sea view is heaven.

User

Had such a wonderful time here; could have been a really expensive resort on the Costa Del Sol or anywhere on the Med. Granted, we were blessed by the weather; but laying down plans to spend New Year there as can imagine would be just as wonderful in mid-winter. Special thanks go out to Kim who was so welcoming and approachable (should you have any problems - which we didn't!).

Almost reluctant at posting this review as would like it to be my 'secret hideaway'

User

Fantastic experience and extremely well designed lodge with all the mod cons a family need. Also had a great on deck dining experience at the lodge with Molecular Magic catering. Attention to detail and facilities all with the back drop of the best beach in the country. Marvellous experience thanks Kim and the team

Fantastic experience and extremely well designed lodge with all the mod cons a family need. Also had a great on deck dining experience at the lodge with Molecular Magic catering. Attention to detail and facilities all with the back drop of the best beach in the country. Marvellous experience thanks Kim and the team
