Bournemouth School for Girls is a 11-16 Grammar School for Girls and Sixth FormWith around 1200 girls, including 300 students in the sixth form, BSG is a dynamic and exciting community to work and learn in. We are committed to providing the very best possible pastoral care and education for our pupils, whether in the classroom, on the sports field, in drama and music or in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. We are certainly a highly successful school with examination results at GCSE and A level consistently placing us as one of the top performing state schools in the country. Whilst we are justifiably proud of our strong academic record, our aim is to provide a well-rounded and balanced educational environment in which every pupil has the opportunity to fully exploit her potential.
