A few weeks ahead of announcing our new Concert Season, we are delighted to share that we will be performing 'Elektra' by Richard Strauss at Lighthouse Poole and Town Hall and Symphony Hall in March 2020.
Our Chief Conductor, Kirill Karabits - Кирило Карабиць will be joined by Catherine Foster in the role of Elektra alongside Susan Bullock and Allison Oakes for both performances.

The debut performance from Bristol's Recovery Orchestra was earlier today at 12pm! 😁
In just a few short weeks 15 musicians who have experienced problematic drug or alcohol use, have come together under the creative baton of Jonathan James to create a beautiful and original piece of music.
Most musicians and music lovers will know someone in the industry who's struggled with alcohol or drugs at one point or another. ... This BDP - Bristol Drugs Project ensemble provides a space for people to learn about music and to perform in a safe and supportive environment with people who’ve had similar experiences.
The orchestra will be supported at the gig by the long running Bristol Recovery Choir Rising Voices. 🎶
