Welcome to the Facebook page of Bournemouth University Rugby men's team | Two teams who proudly represent BU & SportBU in BUCS Western Tiers.

The club is an opportunity to play rugby in a competitive and social environment while at BU. We expect commitment and camaraderie from, and between, every player. We look to provide all members with a high-quality experience in one of Bournemouth University’s fastest growing sports teams as well as improving their rugby skills.

We have one side playing in the British University and Colleges Sports Leagues, which plays in the Western 2A division. We also have a 2nd team playing Saturdays in the Saturdays Merit League. Both teams train twice per week, Mondays and Fridays, at Bournemouth's Meyrick Park. The club also participates in the annual Bournemouth 7s Festival with our own team and, at times, in association with Buffalo Sailors.

Apart from the rugby, BURFC is one of Bournemouth University's prime social groups and is open to welcome new members every year.
