Hi Everyone, apologies for my absence but we have been fabulously busy all summer with lovely guests visiting us here at Bowden House. Are we really sliding into October already?? Secretly I love this time of year, log burner crackling, boots and cosy jumpers, the leaves glowing gold and red, nights drawing in etc. I just want to remind everyone that we are open all year and there is plenty of great things to do and see around here at any time of the year!! I am taking bookin...gs for Christmas and New Year, and my prices stay the same for these dates, also between now and December 20th we are offering a 15% discount whether its for a weekend, short break etc. So come and see us and enjoy this lovely area in the Autumn you wont be disappointed and if you like walking there are miles of coastal paths to explore, or just sit in a cosy pub and enjoy local ales and food. Hello all, I hope June is treating you well, we have had some fabulous weather here with lots of sunshine and lovely guests, Torquay had the air show so we got a good view of the action from our terrace as the planes flew in and out. Hello everyone and welcome to March, (already), the snow storm hit us hard and quick, causing some damage but we are on our way to sorting all of it out and coming back better and stronger. 😊 The bookings are coming in on a daily basis, with several of last years guest returning this year, so that is really lovely for us, We look forward to seeing lots of new faces and you can book through my website or just give me a call, We are fully booked for the Easter weekend. Its a lovely sunny crisp cold day here today, but it always looks beautiful anyway and we never get tired of the fabulous vista we have here at Bowden House. We are also very happy that we are getting lots of repeat bookings from last year which is a huge compliment to us!!! We are also getting several bookings from our website which is our ultimate goal so thank you!!! We have just got back from a lovely stay at Bowden House. We had a warm welcome from Sally and was shown to our apartment and left to settle in. The accommodation was very clean, warm and well stocked for our arrival. The grounds of the house are beautiful with stunning views. Our dog was made just as welcome as we were. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying again �

Thank you so much Sally and Jim for your hospitality during our stay. We rented the Lavender apartment for a week during the last week of July. The apartment was huge with the most gorgeous sea views and was spotlessly clean. Sally and Jim were wonderful hosts who have an extensive knowledge of the local area and are on hand to help out with any queries but are not intrusive. The position of the apartments made travelling to local attractions quick and easy. There is even a bus stop at the end of the drive if you fancy leaving the car at home. The property is surrounded with the most beautiful landscape gardens with views to the sea. Seating has been provided to enjoy the views to the max. I cant say enough good things about our stay. I highly recommend going to see Sally and Jim and finding out for yourself!!

Great location, made very welcome. Fantastic local pub. Would highly recommend.
