Bowdon Vale Cricket Club is a small village club offering cricket for all ages and abilities and fun for all the family.
Bowdon Vale Cricket Club Description
We are a beautiful village club, based in peaceful Bowdon Vale, offering cricket for all ages and abilities. We host junior, senior, Sunday and over 40s cricket and are lucky enough to play in one of the most beautifully, picturesque grounds in the North West. We are a voluntary club and all of our members work hard to maintain the high standards of the ground and look after the pavilion and facilities.
We have a great bar with cheap drinks available for post-match and weekend socialising. We also like to bring the community together with parties and festivities to celebrate the big occasions.
We also work in conjunction with local businesses to promote our community; we are currently sponsored by Flooring 4 You and cereal company, Mornflake. During the week, local business The Pavilion Project also use the club to run a day service for adults and young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
We are always on the look-out for new players and members, so feel free to come and enjoy the sunshine with us at the club, or contact us for more information. Don't forget to bring the family!

Fantastic turn out for our AGM. Thanks to all who came to support & to those who volunteered to take up new committee posts. AGM News!! 🏏🏏 Steve Barnes will continue as Club President & Nigel Halsall will remain as Chairman. Club captains for a 2nd year will be Alex Power for 1st XI & John Ollier for 2nd XI with Jack Halsall & Pete Williamson as respective vice captains. Thanks for standing again. Job well done last year.
🙌 🏏🏆Congratulations for player of year awards go to...: 1st XI- Harry Mills 2nd XI- Tom Ollier Over 40 XI - Bob Hutton. The Mike Royalnce Trophy for their commitment & contribution to club went to Lorna Robinson.

On behalf of the members we would like to thank all the Executive Committee members for their dedication & hard work. Thanks also goes to all the volunteers who have worked on fundraising & maintenance events. Massive thanks goes to Harry Wood for his continued dedication to the club as grounds man.
