BBC journalist Jeremy Bowen has been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Today is the first day of Bowel Cancer Awareness Month and Bowen shared his diagnosis to raise awareness and encourage others to get tested.
Bowen said: "The key thing is - get tested. I've been saying to all my friends - get tested.”
