Marshalls North West did a fantastic job today running the 43rd Hoghton Tower Motorcycle Sprint. Chris Barnes was on form and set a new event record with a blistering 6.95 seconds, meaning AP Broome Racing took home the glory and the Bowker Challenge Trophy. Took my S1000 RR in for its first mot and a 12000 mile service whilst it was in. Helpful and friendly staff, Rick looked after me on the day and sorted me a loan bike (a nice and shiny new GS800 Trophy) so i could get to and from work whilst mine was in the workshop.

The price was quoted in advance and there were no nasty shocks after the work had been carried out.

The only downside to the day was the weather, it was lashing it down when I dropped my bike off and blowing a gale when I picked it up but the good service helped me get over the terrible weather.

The service and attention when I went to Bowkers to enquire, then to purchase my BMW GSA Triple Black given to me by Gary Naylor was 100%, he went above and the extra mile, my only problem is, I should have bought one sooner :-) :-)

The best experience ever in buying a bike.. nothing was too much trouble. Kirk has been extremely helpful from my first call to handover of my new bike...

Purchased a new F750GS Sport for the Mrs (collected a week ago) and a new R1200GS TE with TFT for myself (collected Saturday).



We love both bikes in the time that we’ve had to ride them, hopefully getting in plenty of miles next weekend!

Massive thanks to Gary Naylor (easily spotted with his wonky leg/use of crutch), what a guy.... we found Gary to be genuine, honest and hard working with no pressure tactics. A straight talking salesman without the BS, my kind of salesman.

Just Collected my new GSA from Bowker Motorrad and I'm over the moon with it, transferring from a standard GS the difference is marked the new ESA suspension is the best I've ever ridden , the improvements to the gearbox are again much better. The whole process from my interest to negotiating good fair deal , finance and collection has been smooth , very friendly and professional. All the members of staff that I have encountered since being a customer at Bowker have been a credit to both Bowker and the BMW Brand. Particular mention to Gary Naylor in sales , who I primarily dealt with throughout the last few months and previous year, who always made time to have his ear bent by me on a weekly basis ! In the words of a famous motorcyclist, " I'll be Back" :-)

I went in to Bowker approximately one week ago to get an MOT on my K13s. Whilst waiting, I spoke to Kirk Moseley who remembered me from 5 years ago! I spoke to Kirk about the S1000XR. He was knowledgeable, polite and jovial - the ideal sort of sales guy. Two days later, I had a test ride (for a decent amount of time) and then went back to discuss a deal. Kirk was not pushy in the slightest. We sorted a very fair deal.

I collected the bike less than a week later and again, the service was exemplary.

Bowker have set the standard - they should be the benchmark by which other dealerships are measured.

I'll definitely deal with Bowker (and especially Kirk) again.

I thought I would take advantage of the January sale at bowker BMW Preston and traded in my GS for a GSA and from start to finish was well impressed. I must say a massive thankyou to Gary Naylor for looking after me during this time , his attention to detail and expertese in all things motorbike is very commendable even to the point of ringing me to make sure everything was going to plan when he wasn't in work ! I recently attended a silver cross event at BMW Motorrad Preston. I went to see what offers they had on. I ended up purchasing a R1200 GSA on a great deal. From the moment I stepped in the showroom to the time I left I was made to feel like a valued customer. I received excellent service and impartial advice from the very friendly Gary Naylor in sales who helped me decide which bike would be best for my needs and options open to me. He was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. He is a top guy, and a credit to Bowker as he knows and understands what bikers want. I will definitely be back. I bought my bike from Bowker's not long ago and recently attended the Silver X Sale just out of curiosity, I was happy with my bike and had no real intention of changing. However, I got a very good deal and ended up with a new one! Just like last time, there's no high-pressure selling (that puts me off and I would readily walk away) but the people are friendly and the transaction was easy. I'll be back next time.

I bought a 1200 GS Adventure on 1-5-18 my salesman was GARY ( hop along ) as I called him who was great nothing was to much trouble for him when I was asking questions about the bike and how to change the bike to take the vario panniers & topbox showed me all the controls on bike 🤔🤪very similar to the XR I traded in and he even took a picture of me on bike in front of shop and it was good to have a good amount of fuel in tank to get me home I am very pleased with service from all the staff at bowker motorrad Preston 👍

For a while I had been looking for a R1200 GSA (not a new one just a 2014 model) I came across one at Bowker Motorrad in Preston for the right price so sent them a message about it. Gary Naylor contacted me very quickly and described the bike to me; it sounded just what I was looking for. We went backwards and forwards to agree on a deal. I eventually picked it up on Tuesday 19th September, it was great to meet Gary and found him to be extremely easy to chat to we eventually got through the paperwork etc and one his colleagues showed round the bike and explained the controls (Gary was in a wheelchair at that time). I can't think of anything negative to say about the whole process and I absolutely love the bike. Thanks Gary and hope that the leg is soon fixed. All the best to you and all there.

Bought my second BMW s1000r from bowker at Preston last year, the salesman was Gary, he far exceeded the service I expected, a few niggles were professionally ironed out by Gary and the deal went through, anyone thinking of purchasing a bike from here don't hesitate as the service is second to none, Gary is a great down to earth straight talking bloke and would recommend him to sort you a good deal, all the best on your recovery mate.

I would like to thank Gary Naylor for his customer service and help whilst purchasing my new bike (R700gs Rallye). It was ordered and the manufacturer decided in their wisdom to cancel the order. Thankfully area managers got involved and it was agreed that the last of this model was built. Gary kept me informed every step of the way and what a journey it was. There were times when I would have given up bit he kept me focused and lifted my spirits when I was fed up with the wait. Steve ( mechanic) who also worked on my bike when it finally arrived was also instrumental in keeping my pecker up at times when I was down waiting for a bike I didn't think would ever arrive. Finally picked it up Saturday 4.11.17

Follow up on my trade in price change at Bowker motorcycle Preston, after posting the message about the price change offer for my BMW I was contacted at the weekend regarding this matter and was promised that a discussion would take place with management and I would be contacted on the Monday needless to say a week and three days later still nothing so went to Allen Jefferies and the at least they kept their word and improved their offer,but decided to keep mine and purchased a second bike.Please note although the sales people never got back they were very pleasant to deal with and only doing their jobs.
