Had a go on top this morning and had a nice mirror from Mayfields

Thorney pool was packed out at the weekend with only 1 swim free. A fair few fish were landed. Big well done to Scott Ben ash and Jamie. This lake really is a jewel. Still a few fish have not made it to the bank this season. So could be a few surprises. Josh

2 of Thorney pools gems. Both very old fish both down in weight due to spawning but both looking good to put a few more pounds on over the coming months. Well done Dave the bailiff and tony the eagle

Massive congratulations to tony the eagle. 1 of his main target fish from Thorney pool. Single scale down in weight due spawning. 19lb 6oz. Has a massive frame and surly 1 to watch for the future. From all the bailiffs at Thorney pool well done tony. Josh.

Well done to our own Dave as well. over the last 3 days he has manger 3 fish. Look at the last fish the scales are in wrong place. All the fish in Thorney pool are proper characters. Well done Dave Josh

Massive congrats to Scott steeples new pb 32.8 in the shape of the 3/4lin from Rodney meadow. Amazing story to go with an amazing fish. Scott went to have a look around Rodney for a chance of floater caught monster and with great help from Paul lane 1 of the bailiffs who put Scott on to the fish. First cast with a fake mixer and the 3/4 graced Scott's net. Well done Scott from all the bailiffs on the Rodney & Thorney & Mayfeilds complex. Josh Thorney pool.

Whilst other lakes have been flooded our little gold mine Thorney pool luckily stayed flood free. 1 of our regular members Dan has pulled a cracker out of the bag with this 27.10oz fish. Well done and massive congrats for sticking at it. If your after a gold mine look no further than Thorney pool. Josh

Unfortunately Mayfields Lake continues to be closed; we will provide updates ASAP.

only on Thorney on a winter ticket and already had more than the cost, really for the price was not expecting the quality that I found, amazed angler. Had my PB second visit to lake. If you like an intimate stalky venue with cracking looking carp, get on it!

excellent waters especially Rodney and the baliffs are good too

Rodney is fishing well and the quality of stock is supreme. Fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff! I'm hooked!!!

Mike and I have fished Rodney for many many years. Love the natural beauty and no commercialisation. Well kept by a fantastic baliffs, who put in lots of time for great results. There is such a variety of specie's of carp that take your breath away. We keep coming back for more.

Love how natural looking the lakes are. Bailiffs very helpful on most waters. Lovely looking hard fighting carp.

I have been a member for 5years now and enjoyed every minute ballifs and staff of boyers are very helpful lovely waters and prime fish
