Well done to the U19's in their T20 match last night. In an exciting match they beat Nettleham by 4 runs in a tense final over. Batting first, we made 117 off 20 overs, thanks to an unbeaten 55 from Sam Mason, and 23 from Max Moor. Nettleham started brightly, and were soon ahead of the required run rate. However wickets fell quickly with AJ Cook (3-19) and Owen Pickersgill (2-14) taking the sting out of the attack. Needing just 17 from the last 4 overs the game eventually w...ent down to the last over with Nettleham needing 8 to win. The last over was bowled by Ben Whitehouse who conceded just 3 runs, took a wicket into the bargain and gave us victory over a strong Nettleham side. Thanks to everyone who took part, and especially Colin Moore and Lee Hudson who put on their chef's hats for the bbq, and Nikki for running the bar. Thanks also to all the supporters who came to watch! Next T20 match is away on Mon 22 July vs Lindum, start at 1330 - all support welcome!!

We launched our All Stars last night and what a great success it was with lots of new children. Sally Stevenson, our Lead Star Activator, did a great job and thank you to John Kent and Daryn Shirley for helping. Well done to our U15s who chased down the 116 set by a strong Spalding Town side to win the cup semi-final in 19.2 overs. Great team work from all the boys who never gave up or stopped smiling / joking. A special mention to AJ .... who certainly made it an exciting second innings ... 49 no and a fantastic 6 🙌 to win the game 🏏🦚
