About Brain Dip

We both know there are young people who walk into the classroom carrying with them a bag of low self-esteem and a pen filled with a lack of motivation. They then have to sit an exam covered in a content that they already feel they can't succeed in. The very few learning and revision strategies that are taught in schools fail to open up to our young people; fail to show how awesome they are. They then continue in life carrying with them this bag of low self-esteem, a pen filled with a lack of motivation and now a low heavy grade they carry on their shoulders. If there are no alternative strategies that interest our young people then teachers end up relying on external rewards that might taste sweet but only last for a short period of time. Students are still left with the feeling that they can't achieve. They then go home and ask for help but at times the parent /carer can't as their own cultural capital holds them back. What if we could change all this? What if schools had a technique that is accessible to all students and all parents /carers?WE HAVE! Brain Dip is a new technique that gives our young people the ability to recall chunks of information from the long-term memory by revising less. Using our technique to learn and revise is fun and engaging as young people will start entering the classroom with a bag full of confidence and a pen filled with motivation. Teachers will start to see immediate results after using Brain Dip as young people will be given the opportunity of choice and independence whilst revising less. And when they go home their parents /carers can help too! As the Brain Dip technique is accessible to everyone as it breaks down existing barriers to parental engagement.
