Good clean site. Warm amenitie block and friendly and helpful staff. Close to Bowness. Good clearance for motorhome and caravans. Service roads in excellent condition.

Great location, will be back in the future. Easy access to Bowness and Harkshead ferry. Will be taking our bikes next time to ride along the far shore of Lake Windermere.

Excellent staff and location with bus service

A very convenient caravan site within walking distance of Bowness on Windermere. As well just by the entrance there is a 599 bus stop, a service that runs every 20 minutes in spring, summer and autumn all the way to Grassmere. It is an open top (half) bus so you can enjoy the scenery when the weather is fine. National bus passes are valid, There is also a road train from the same place running every 15 minutes during the tourist season.

The caravan park is compact although that may be an understatement. As cars have to park in front of the caravan it sometimes looks crowded. Facilities are excellently maintained by friendly staff. TV signal is not great and only 26 stations (Freeview light) are available. Satellite TV OK if you are not parked with trees in line with the satellite.

Faceless with small pitches and minimum facilities, no play area for kids. Well overpriced at £54 per night. Good access to the town and the lake though

Nice place. Clean toilets and showers. It is within walking distance into town.

Lovely place enjoyable walks for couples or families can take prams and go on flat walks around the lake really spetacliar views would recommend
