Excited for these 16oz tomahawk pork steak for the weekend specials! Marinated for 24 hours, now being lightly smoked, served with a celeriac and apple slaw and a rich muscovado glaze.
And how about a goats cheese ravioli with pea Panna cotta and pumpkin purée ?
No matter what way you look at it, it looks amazing, great job chef! A taste sensation of avocado, lime chocolate and chilli!! It works in every way and......almost healthy😇
We hired the private dining room for a special birthday. Mandy and all the team were superb in the pre event planning and on the day itself. Our waitress looking after us all evening was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible. Best cheese soufflé ever, beautiful duck main and the lemon tart was wow !! All our guests were delighted with their food which is so unusual for a large group! We had some specific dietary requirements / allergies to be catered for and they delivered without question. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. 5 star food and service rarely seen in Bournemouth. Well done and thanks so much !
Was there last Saturday afternoon for lunch second visit, food was great loved the new menu, staff were very friendly and great atmosphere, nice to sit outside by the sea chilling with drinks, definitely will go back again 10/10
Took my mum dad and son for a treat and what a treat it was...excellent service from start to finish. Amazing food and service. Highly recommend!!
Scrumptious food delightful service we will be back thank you
One of the best meal and dining experiences I've had but I expect nothing less from anything associated with Raymond Blanc. We started with Trempettes which were a delightfully appetising taste explosion. I followed with the duck confit which was exceptionally tasty and tender. It's very rare nowadays to find food that is well-seasoned but this was perfect. My daughter had the suckling pig and was just as impressed. I finished with the perfectly proportioned and presented gooseberry crumble, and my daughter had the pavlova. Again, absolutely delicious. Our waitress was delightful and extremely attentive. Other members of staff were also very friendly and courteous. I look forward to returning there very soon.
Love coming here, fantastic food and great service every time. Highly recommend cheese soufflé
Had an amazing afternoon tea - with a view - lots of fresh sandwiches and little delicate cakes - though the shot of raspberry / strawberry with cream my favourite it was to die for - good value and of course added the glass of fizz! Excellent service a real treat 🍾
Had a fabulous stay, dinned twice and loved it. Such a great spot. Lovely staff, excellent food.
Great new addition to Bournemouth. Set in a sea-front hotel with great views out over the coast and an outside terrace if you prefer al fresco. Visited on late Sunday afternoon for my wife's birthday meal with daughter, son-in-law and 14 month old grandson. Food was fantastic with a range of French and European on the menu. Service was very good with nothing too much trouble and loads of attention paid to my grandson. Three courses for four with wine and drinks and a child's meal came in at just over £200. Considering the standard of food service and the setting I thought this was good value. Overall very impressed. My wife and I look forward to going back, especially if they introduce the menu de jour, which we have enjoyed in other Brassiere Blanc's which are always good and fantastic value.
Fabulous service, amazing food and a menu to die for highly recommend. Reg and the team are fantastic. Ultimate dining experience. You need to book now !
Booked a birthday lunch for my friend, which turned out to be a lovely treat for the both of us! Excellent venue, with lunch out on the terrace in the sunshine, the bay as perfect a backdrop as one could ask for. Attentive, pleasant staff served us and we chose from the set menu, which didn’t disappoint. I will definitely be going back and would choose it over most of the other lunch-with-a-view venues I have been to. Top quality food at an unpretentious price.
Birthday treat which didn't disappoint. Totally relaxed place but food brilliant. Serving staff mega polite and friendly. Food really excellent quality, cooked to perfection and really filling (big eater). Cheers Mark and his team. Well done the Badge
Amazing food today at Brasserie Blanc, the best cheese soufflé ever, perfect Chateaubriand and finished off with a yummy pavlova! Service was perfect, highly recommend most definitely worth a visit!
We visited for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon. Lovely calm relaxed atmosphere. Good service. Well price spring set menu . All 4 of us pleased with our choice and appetites satisfied. Nice dining room with spectacular sea views.
The food was excellent but the service wasn’t, no notes read regarding our meal, We asked for no pork on my sons plate and none of us got it. The waitresses were serving across people instead of around us. My son was given the smoked salmon instead of the pasta which was swapped. Hiccups seem to be due to holiday staff. The main waiter was 5 star and sorted all the problems but I could see he was getting annoyed with the other staffs errors.
Brasserie Blanc, did not disappoint, in their food taste and presentation. The Crab pot was packed with flavour! Then the Salmon fish cakes with Thai green papaya salad, finished off with the Chocolate pud...OMG!Decadence personified & gleefully shared far to lovely not too!!
If I had to pass on one tip,it's one for front of house not the kitchen.
...Please plump up the cushions after previous dinners have left and decrumb the seats.
Makes for a nicer overall dinning experiance.
The food was really good but the restaurant design was terrible with no consideration for comfort or ambience. It had a beautiful seafront vista but dark paintwork made it gloomy. Also the majority of dinners had to share bench like seating so no privacy. The seating was curved and a lot of diners were on the convex curve- very uncomfortable! They also served piping hot coffee in a glass tumbler - no handle which is an accident waiting to happen! I had to request a cup so I could actually pick it up without bring scalded. Definitely style over common sense!
Excellent staff very attentive but not over the top. Food could have been better. My starter was good, but main disappointing. Staff took on board my comments and hopefully next time I go back will be better.
My husband and I visited today - hopefully for breakfast / brunch.
We arrived about 11.40 and when we walked in no one greeted us - they were talking amongst themselves and tidying up. Really not too bothered about us.
Eventually we were asked if we were there for lunch - we said no brunch ? Not possible - lunch starts 12.30 and go sit in the lounge ! I asked to see the menus for perhaps a future visit and was given the A La Carte menu and Sunday Lunch menu. I asked for a breakfast menu - you would have thought I was speaking double Dutch ! I said we had been to the Blanc premises in Chichester and had some pastries etc there - oh yes we do but that finished serving at 11 am, go and sit in the lounge. My husband and I read the menus we were given - the staff just carried on around us and even caught our feet up in electric flex of something. Again told to sit in the lounge with the menu.
There was nothing really that we fancied. Certainly the indication was that it wasn't living up to the Blanc reputation of good service and good food. We were just made to feel like we were in the way !
No one noticed our leaving. No one really bothered about us. No service there at all - will we go back ?
No, I don't think we can be bothered either .............
