Brathay Lodge

Good stay and jacuzzi is a nice addition to the room. However disappointed by the cold breakfast. Also noises from the room above us kept us awake at night as we were hearing people walking all around upstairs.

Could benefit from an English cooked breakfast. Otherwise, lovely.

Stayed here twice now, beautiful building, large and clean rooms. We had a Jacuzzi on our last visit, great for relaxing after a long hike up Scafell

Clean and pleasant room, everything works just fine, staffs are very friendly, would like to visit again. Unfortunately our daughter became sick during stay, they offered some bread out of breakfast time as our daughter couldn't eat in the morning, also bit late check out allowed so that we don't need to wait too long at the bus stop. It was very pleasant stay.

Very nice rooms, comfortable and a decent breakfast (oh and parking which is great).

The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, perfect for a honeymoon. The staff is very friendly.

Breakfast was a little lacking, but still filling.

Despite only claiming WiFi in the lobby areas, I managed to get a connection in my room, which is a necessity these days. It could have been faster, but I don't think young, media consuming people is their target audience.

My bed had a conveniently placed outlet by it.

Physical keys, with only one per room is a little awkward; especially when rooming with three other people with different schedules.

I wish I'd stayed for longer.

Very friendly & helpful staff, great location & a beautiful view from the window- we'll definitely be coming back!!
