Whatever your holiday tastes are, we are lucky enough to have plenty of attractions within a half-hour drive including Castle Howard, Flamingo Land and Goathland (famous for being the site of Aidensfield in ITV's Heartbeat). The local market towns of Malton, Pickering, Kirkbymoorside and Helmsley are also worth visiting. Walking is also popular in the area, with various walks located in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and Howardian Hills.
