Congratulations to Tōukon Academy purple belt Simon Gooch, on his performance at yesterday's Battle Grapple II in Guildford. Simon fought to a draw in one of the most entertaining bouts of the day against a tough competitor from Ivam Maciel Jiu-Jitsu.
Simon's tenacity and desire to improve session by session should be an inspiration to us all.

Outstanding - Dave is great with our ‘tots’ - 3 & 6 year old boys .... they love it!

Our son has been training here since January and not only has he gained valuable new skills in self protection but he has grown measurably in confidence throughout his whole life, his teachers have noticed we have noticed and best of all he absolutely loves it and can’t wait to go to his classes.

Only just started training with David but I have watched him train my 8 year old for a year now. Top quality instructor and the club is awesome, everyone makes you feel welcome and helps you.

Never in my life I thought I’d be doing anything like this.... after the 14 day free trail I was hooked to Brazilian jiu jitsu, 9 months later and I haven’t looked back, it’s opened up a whole new world for me, meeting new friends and enjoying spending time studying Jiu Jitsu under David Webb. I first trained with David a few years ago but more recently I have concentrated on my BJJ with him at Toukon. In a couple of months I have felt my game jump up many levels, his attention to detail and vast knowledge make it easy for anyone to learn. With quality instruction he gives I see people improve on a weekly basis. Friendly atmosphere and great teaching make it a pleasure to train.

Fantastic and detailed training delivered by a genuine black belt who practices what he preaches. Lovely clean training facility. Genuinely the best martial art for self defence and I shall be enrolling my kids when they're ready.
