About Brazzaville Foundation

We are a civil society organisation promoting and supporting African initiatives to give them a concrete and sustainable impact. Created in 2014 by Jean-Yves Ollivier with the aim of perpetuating "the spirit of the Brazzaville Protocol", the organisation designs, promotes and accompanies African initiatives in the fields of peace (international and internal conflict resolution), environment (protection of ecosystems, biodiversity and communities) and health (fight against fake medicines). The NGO is governed by an experienced Board of Trustees, supported by an Advisory Board of international distinguished individuals who guide and support the Foundation in its work. The Foundation's programmes contribute to the implementation of the African Union's Agenda 2063 and to the achievement of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, for which it has enjoyed consultative status with the Economic and Social Council since 2018.
