You've only got to look at the bread in this establishment to know you're buying a superior product. It's got colour to it and when you taste it it's got substance and real flavour to it. It's the opposite to the anemic tasteless stuff (it's not bread in my view) that we've been exposed to over the years. Go for it: you won't regret it! I've not gone for the cakes etc yet but they look fantastic.

Wonderful cakes and desserts. Also good coffee. We had just been for a pub lunch in Portsmouth and was walking by in need of afters! We guessed it would be the right place to go and we were right.

We stumbled on Bread Addiction by accident on our travels, and what an amazing find. Four very happy children at breakfast time, bread to die for and then a special chocolate fondant mousse cake - not to mention the incredible staff. and the coffee was good too! brilliant place.

We loved the bread, particularly the sour dough and really pleased to have another independent business in the neighbourhood. Despite some concerns at one point over an irrelevant issue, the owners have been friendly and welcoming and responded quickly to our inquiry. An asset to the area and a commendable effort supplying locally made products to local businesses. Cheers guys!

This place is too close to me and is dangerous!! I am not supposed to eat wheat but how can I give up such delicious sourdough bread and their amazing cakes.

There are not enough words to explain how much we love this place. Amazing bread, amazing cakes, even my 9 month old goes nuts for the toast. Makes it impossible to stick to the diet but worth every calorie :)

The only complaint that I have about Bread Addiction is that I have to travel over 18 miles to get the best bread that I have ever had. The cakes look amazing as well. The staff are always happy and friendly who genuinely appear to love their jobs.

How about this for an idea-get a stall in the Chichester Farmers' Market.

The Square Mile - Red Brick coffee is excellent, the freshly prepared food is delicious whilst affordable and the pastries are incredible. My pick(s) would be the cinnamon buns and flourless brownies. This is now my favourite go-to place in Southsea for a coffee and treat.

Really lovely food...had homemade bread, eggs, avocado, smoked salmon, salad ...delish!

Lovely friendly service..great latte...good prices...scrummy blueberry franzipan tart...definitely be back. Well done guys.

Popped in on spec and was made to feel so welcome by the friendly owners that I stayed for tea and roasted veg on brown sourdough sandwich - lush !

So tasty I bought a large BSD loaf which impressed family enough to warrant a trip to sample other delights. (ham and cheese croissant and mini savoury tarts) Best wishes with the delivery service ! děkuji

Just GOOD food & coffee. No gastronomic snobbery, no gluten-free dairy-free grain-free pretentiousness (although they do have some of those options!). Just damn fine baking!

First time yesterday and it was lovely. The poached eggs were amazing. The bread was the best I've tasted � will be back soon to try on of your cinnamon buns that smelt mouth watering .

Bought pastries whilst at Gunwharf Quays and called in for a loaf of sour dough on our way home from a weekend away in Southsea. They were truly delicious. Can't wait to return to try more of their baked goods!
