To Celebrate Cask Ale Week (20th - 30th September). We will have some customer favourites on our bar as well as a fun quiz with the winner receiving a beer related prize (Watch this space).

lovely staff, prompt service, good price and gorgeous food. We're local and go often. I had one of the many specials on offer, a vegetarian quiche, it was beautiful, can't recommend place enough!

We visited on Bank Holiday Monday - lovely meal for all eight of us and quick,friendly service in a lovely pub! Thank you, from the Wappett family of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. 😊🌞👍

Waiting staff had very good knowledge of the menu, able to identify ingredients in any dish I asked about, food was very good quality, friendly service and the bar staff were efficient.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. Good food and beer selection. Lovely stuff.

Stayed Friday and Saturday night . Nice room , beautiful position near canal and beach. Too busy for us to get a meal Friday night (would have booked if we had been told ) Booked a table for Saturday and had a lovely meal . Breakfasts really good as well.

Lovely friendly relaxing place. Lovely to sit outside in the summer and by the fire in the winter. Staff very friendly and good service.

Lots of different foods on the menu , staff very helpful as I'm gluten free so is very difficult to eat out.

Sat outside as we have 3 dogs but plenty of room , not squashed up against other tables.

Dropped in yesterday for a late lunch after a visit to the beach 7 of us and 2 dogs all made very welcome, food was delicious and very reasonably priced x

Nice pub, food was good...gets very busy especially when showing football but that’s to be expected. Dog friendly x

Dropped in on-spec after a day in Tintagel. Nice pub connected to next door Falcon Hotel.

Only two hand pumps but the food was our reason for visiting. Pork steaks in cider and mustard sauce with veg and mash was lovely.

Local black cherry ice cream followed - very nice.

Reasonable prices and nice staff so we hope to revisit soon.

Brilliant position on the canal. Lovely atmosphere in the garden. Good wholesome food on every visit.

Disappointed they stop food between 2pm and 6pm after we arrived from Bristol at 2.15pm. No matter..... we will keep going back. �

In my opinion it was average food nice but nothing to write home about and the drinks were expensive

I would like to not give this a 1 star review but unfortunately it is compulsory to give a rating. My mum has just found a live caterpillar crawling in her food. To add to this, we are vegetarians, so pre warning for anyone that has salad!! And that was after waiting for 50 minutes. ���
