Brewers Fayre

Went here with my partner yesterday, never been to a Brewers Fayre before! Can honestly say everything was amazing, the staff were really friendly, chatty people and the food was amazing (Had the full rack of ribs) will definitely recommend to anyone and will be sure to swing by again

We had a lovely carvery today, the staff was very pleasant & helpful, it was my husbands birthday & the Staff sang happy birthday �

Booked a table through premier inn, told no tables for over 2 hours so went to sit in the bar & play cards with my daughter.

Bit concerned with presence of security guard at 6pm!

Ordered drinks, very impressed with James the bartender- really friendly polite & helpful with our meal deal order.

Spoke with the lady seating folk and she found us a table and we have all eaten before our reservation was even due!

Soft play area clean and staff friendly.

The food was excellent- steak cooked to perfection, really tasty chips & sweet potato chips too. Very happy- hope breakfast tomorrow is as good! Thanks Brewers Fayre.

Although they were busy with seating didn't take long to find a table for us. the staff was very friendly and the food was amazing :)

We stayed in the premier inn next door for a night, we had evening dinner which we all fully enjoyed and my gf had the best fried egg whites here compared to every else. Had breakfast in the morning which again was lovely. Staff were friendly and the manager couldn't do enough for us, looked clean enough and would definitely go back if we go to Birmingham again.

We stayed in the premier Inn next door for the night and went here for dinner, the Manager Matt was lovely and catered for my fussy needs and thanks to the chef James who made me an egg with no yolk It was lovely, We also breakfast the next morning, the pub was clean and the food was lovely, we would return if we went back to Birmingham!

Service couldn’t fault meals were on time friendly staff would come back overall nice evening

Had a lovely breakfast this morning with my family, food was constantly replaced and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

When we are we were told only turkey on the carvery due to technical issues. We all, 6 of us, ordered from the main menu. Food arrived in a reasonable time but while it was all correct, some of the meals were warm rather than hot. I think perhaps they had trouble getting all the food ready at the same time. We didn’t send the food back as were were on a tight time schedule. We should have perhaps complained but it was all edible, just not as hot as it should have been. My grandson greatly enjthe soft play and we will return.

Went this evening (12th June) for birthday meal for th first time in a long time.

Greeted by Richard who I later found out is the new manager.

Sorted our table and settled us in. Waited some time for food but when it came I was not impressed- little niggles with food and the lack of staff engagement really got to me. Fed this back to Richard who welcomed the feedback in order that he can help address these issues.

I will go again to see if there are any improvements in a few weeks

Waited a while to be seated, even though it wasn't packed, placed our order, plus 2 hot drinks, waited ages for our cups to be brought over, so I asked someone for 2 cups, she said she'd bring them over, then walked off and started serving someone at the bar, so completely forgot us, then I asked someone else who then after waiting again brought us 2 glasses ( for hot drinks )so had to wait again, finally got our drinks, which weren't very hot,food didn't take long, it was ok but not very hot, asked for the bill, then, the waitress was standing watching while I was sorting out the money , also we wasn't given a menu I had to fetch them myself, ate our food and left.

Had the new York burger thing, burger was lovely chips wasn't that nice to be honest, then I asted to order deserts, and when I ordered them they talk about 20/25 minutes to come out my 2 year old daughter was getting irritated waiting around, then I had enough was gonna get my bill and they had finally came out, wasn't happy at all.

Food is just ok, I've never had a meal and thought mmm that was lovely and it never comes out hot. The prices are quite steep for what you get unless you purchase an offer. I always choose to come back purely because it's local and you can dine in the play part whilst the children play. This section is spacious and always kept clean.

Food and drink are all fine but pub is massively under staffed. Queue at bar is ridiculous, mixing people ordering food with people who just want a drink. (Instead of till for food and bar for drinks). Or even better table service as it used to be. Place is half empty but constantly turning people away because empty tables are “reserved”. Can only assume they reserve tables for the entire evening instead of letting them be used before people turn up. (Or because they don’t have the staff).

Today I went here with my friends and kids (4 adults and 10 kids) - family friendly I thought. The man that greeted us (Rob) was the most negative person I have dealt with in a restaurant.... have you booked? No, we’ll have to put you on separate tables... that’s fine (the place was hardly rammed).... you’ll have to wait at least an hour for food... That’s fine, that’s what the play area is for isn’t it? Then he left us just standing there. No communication on what he was doing. Then after 5 mins a lady came to show us to our tables. They were no kids menus on the tables- when we asked where they were- we were told they were by the entrance, no helpful oh we’ll get them for you. After all this the food came in 30 mins which was great and the kids had a fab time. But we were all left feeling like Rob didn’t want to give us a table.

The food i ordered was nice and hot,my husbands was dry and well overcooked. Customer service is poor. Left stood at the entrance so we went to get a drink first,we werent aknowledged by any member of staff-we had to approach them to get a table. Unorganised choas really and it wasnt even busy. My 2 sons and I went for lunch yesterday afternoon (22/2/18) when we arrived it didn't look too busy and was seated quite quickly.

There wasn't a menu on our table so had to take one from another .

We ordered our food which then took at least 1 hour to arrive to our table. We ate our meal then my son wanted dessert.

We ordered these which took at least another half an hour is more to arrive .

The service is so slow in there .

I waited almost 45 mins for food to be brought to the table even though the restaurant was hardly full. As we got our food, we had no cutlery and no check backs on our food until we was almost done and staff literally walking around doing nothing. I'm so reluctant to come back here to eat

friday night I went in, wasnt that busy, 1 till for card and 1 for cash. ordered food..straight forward enough. my friend met me for a drink, went to the bar only to be told only 1 till and the queue was getting longer. The people serving looked lie teenagers. Asked a waiter for my daughters pudding and after him walking past my table 3 times I gave up and left...Friday night..put people on who actually look like they know what they are doing!!

Won’t ever come again. Had 2 bad experiences after the first I thought I may have just come on a bad day, waited 45 mins for food when there was only 3 couples on tables it was very quiet, food was horrible and chewy explained to manager I wasn’t happy about it all and he said he will ask the chef what chicken is used(100% chicken breast is stated in the menu) and didn’t even return or apologise to me! Girls who work behind the till are lovely other and kept apologising. Never again

What an abysmal failure this place is, 2 nights in a row and the food was a mixture of over cooked and rock hard, with stone cold mash and slimy green beans, not impressed and will not be returning.

Went today (27/12/17) we arrived, waited about ten minutes to be seated as there was only one member of staff that I could see on shop floor, she sat us at a table and had some drinks whilst waiting for the rest of our party. When we lined up to order our food there was a woman in front of us and a mad behind us, when the woman was finished she asked us to move to one side whilst she served the man behind us. Our food was finally ordered at 14:59, our starters came out after a reasonable amount of time and when finished our plates were collected, an hour and a half later we finally get our food, there’s only 3 of us and there really wasn’t that many people, we did not get an apology for the food being so late, one of the side orders was a plate of cheesy garlic bread, when we picked it up off the plate the bottom was covered in chutney from someone else’s plate/meal when a worker walked past us I asked her to return it to the kitchen because it had someone else’s food all over it, she took the plate from my hand and stormed to the kitchen after 10/15 minutes another woman came from the kitchen and brought out two pieces of cold, soggy garlic bread, not once did we get an apology for any of what had happened whilst we were at this pub, from where we were sat it looked like out of the 4/5 staff that finally appeared out of no where only 1 member of staff was actually working and taking orders and helping the customers, I didn’t get her name but the service from everyone else was disgusting, rude staff that clearly can’t be bothered definitely will not be going here again!!!!!

Went to this dump last night . Bouncers on the door .....its that bad lol . Not full so I ordered a red wine and two soft drinks for my girls. Walked into the eating area and nobody was waiting so I sat myself and 13 and 10 year old daughters down . As I got up to find a menu as there were none available I was confronted by the manager . You can't sit there you have to be seated he said. I said I've found my table and we will sit there . He then told me that if I didn't move to where he wanted me to sit I wouldn't get served . ( pathetic really ) I said stop being a div . I'm sitting here . Next minute a bouncer walks over and says that I have a problem . I said listen mate I'm not staying I'll go over to frankie and bennies over the rd . Even the other bouncer was surprised. I heard him say he has his children with him ??? The manager , a small Asian man with small man syndrome walked over and smiled smugly at me ....like he had won a prize trying to bully myself and my daughter's. I said what are you smiling at ?? Anyway , I ended up calling him a penis ....not in front of my daughter's and I'm now banned .

Went for the 1st time In a while and the place was a shambles pool table in the sitting area with kid's jumping and screaming on it tables covered in old drinks and food stickers covering the sticky tables food and condiments all over the floor...

Well the breakfast is okay-but it'd be really nice if the manager emailed you when he says he would. We had problems with Christmas dinner-mentioned it and he said he'd email us-2 weeks later and I'm still waiting for that email. There's 8 of us come for xmas dinner and have been for 3 years-so much for loyalty being rewarded. Oh and we chased this with the deputy manager (Welsh guy) and he said he'd make sure that he does email us.

We went to great park pub as regular customers but after having a bad food experience in January 2018 we have not eaten there again until today. Unfortunately the food was just as terrible I had a half a chicken and chips, the chicken was very much over done and very small and boney uneatable. We waited 45 minutes for our main meals which is unacceptable but we didn't have a receipt to get our money back as the manager was too interested in getting back to watching the England football game. His attitude towards my husband who tried to order my 10 year olds pudding at the same time as his main meal was terrible as he said he couldn't do that when ordering his meal.

Turned up for my birthday meal and was turned away as no tables free but when we looked the place was empty with loads of free tables. The guy on the door was very rude indeed and we would never go there again.



Went to Generous George who was full but they accommodated us and made a seating area for us to sit and eat our lovely meal.

Took a party of 15 for a festive work meal. We had booked in advance for 1.30, we were seated on separate tables which was unexpected and not ideal but do able, we were then told about a wait of 40 mins for food so we ordered quickly. Starters arrived after about 30 mins and were cold, some of the order was wrong so some had to wait longer.which were also cold....then mains followed over an hour after the starters which was mediocre at best and again not hot.except for the roast potatos the festive dinner wasn't as nice as any of us thought it would be even those who ordered from normal menu were dissappointed. After waiting on desserts for another 45 mins we asked them to hustle twice , it was only on the 2nd time they came and told us they didn't have some of what we had ordered so had to make a different selection...after another long wait I had to cancel quite a few desserts as people had to leave!! All in all not a good experience.we finally left at 5.45 and our table was booked at 1.30. Arrived home to find an email thanking us for cancelling our table !!!! Place seems understaffed and disorganised.wouldnt have minded of placed was stacked out but it wasn't that busy.

The number of negative comments reflects my experience. They couldn’t meet our needs and any changes to choices was a no! This isn’t my experience at Brewster and have been a lot over the years. We visited after a day at cadburys world and I wouldn’t go back or recommend it! They even had the audacity to make me pay more. Luckily I wasn’t that drunk so noticed!!!! The premier inn was ace thou!!!

Terrible service, warm-cold food, dirty plates and cutlery on every table and bloody expensive too. I class wetherspoons as the bog standard in British pubs and even that would have been a cut above this abomination.

Shocking place. Asked if we could sit and were told no as they were very busy (doing nothing), ignored by what I assume was the manager, putting reserved signs on tables that weren’t even being used when we left. Food was terrible and the staff couldn’t give a monkeys about customer service. Needless to say we won’t be going back. Sorry state of affairs.

Waited ages after ordering food n both my started and main came at the same time. Pate was crumbly and tasteless and the bread barely toasted. I know lamb is a little fatty but OMG more fat than meat on the lamb shank bone

Meals ordered for three people. This was a working lunch by three guides planning their units meetings. Third meal arrived 50 minutes after first two who had already finished eating. This was only after chasing it up. To top that rare to medium steak and salad was ordered and what arrived was an over cooked steak with veg and chips.

Later on fish sandwich ordered and hungry and assumed that wouldn't take long. Had to chase that up and 50 minutes later finally arrived. Disgusting service when the restaurant was very quiet.

Im absolutely disgusted at the food we were given today i wouldnt serve an animal the burger my 6 year old was given today lucky he has good taste and spat it out to avoid a bad tummy for christmas day !! It was dry stone cold and served in a dry whole meal bap when i complained he was given a hot dog which we waited a further 20 mins for this was after waiting 40 mins for the 1st mains to arrive my burger was the same cold and had clearly been left out for ages before serving. And the best part no apology or care from any of the staff !

I would really recommend this place if you want to sit in a freezing cold place waiting an hour and a half for you're food, which when it arrives isn't what you ordered and so dry, having to make you're own drinks, all whilst having to put up with rude staff who have their head too busy in their own conversations instead of listening to what we have ordered. The tables are not being cleared, and the soup pot has been left wide open to everyone on the counter next to where tea and coffee are made by the customers. We are STILL sat here waiting for our childrens desserts and we got our table at 5pm. Very very disappointed. Will not be coming here again. Horrendous

Didn't book a table so expected to wait. After approx 25 mins we were shown to our table (party of 5 adults). The floor under the table was littered with food from the previous diners and the chairs were badly stained. The pages of the menu were stuck together with goodness knows what. We waited for what seemed like an eternity for someone to take our order and eventually had to go and ask someone for assistance. Three starters and five main meals were ordered. After a long wait two starters of garlic mushrooms arrived which were overcooked and dry plus one loaded potato skins to share. I notified the waitress that it was the potato skins for one that had been ordered and she went to leave with the plate; I said I'll have it sooner than wait for the correct order but would only pay for the single. She went to speak to the manager and came back and apologised for the error but said the manager couldn't reduce the bill. I asked to speak to the manager and she came back and said it was now sorted. The loaded potato skins were virtually inedible, dry and baked onto the plate with a cheese dip that had a thick dry skin over it. Three main courses were served by the manager which were to an acceptable standard although one was incorrect and had to back to the kitchen, and he said one more meal would arrive shortly and was that everything. We told him there was fifth meal and he asked to be reminded what that was!!!!!!!! By the time the last two meals arrived the other three had been eaten. The toilets were a sight to behold. I know it's the diners who make the mess but toilets full of you know what, tissue strewn all over the floor, slimey mould around the base of the taps is not acceptable. Arrived at 19:30 and left at 22:00. I will certainly not visit or recommend the Brewers Fayre, Rubery.

We waited 45 minutes for our main meals which is unacceptable but we didn't have a receipt to get our money back as the manager was too interested in getting back to watching the England football game. His attitude towards my husband who tried to order my 10 year olds pudding at the same time as his main meal was terrible as he said he couldn't do that when ordering his meal.

Turned up for my birthday meal and was turned away as no tables free but when we looked the place was empty with loads of free tables. The guy on the door was very rude indeed and we would never go there again.



Went to Generous George who was full but they accommodated us and made a seating area for us to sit and eat our lovely meal.

Took a party of 15 for a festive work meal. We had booked in advance for 1.30, we were seated on separate tables which was unexpected and not ideal but do able, we were then told about a wait of 40 mins for food so we ordered quickly. Starters arrived after about 30 mins and were cold, some of the order was wrong so some had to wait longer.which were also cold....then mains followed over an hour after the starters which was mediocre at best and again not hot.except for the roast potatos the festive dinner wasn't as nice as any of us thought it would be even those who ordered from normal menu were dissappointed. After waiting on desserts for another 45 mins we asked them to hustle twice , it was only on the 2nd time they came and told us they didn't have some of what we had ordered so had to make a different selection...after another long wait I had to cancel quite a few desserts as people had to leave!! All in all not a good experience.we finally left at 5.45 and our table was booked at 1.30. Arrived home to find an email thanking us for cancelling our table !!!! Place seems understaffed and disorganised.wouldnt have minded of placed was stacked out but it wasn't that busy.

Sorry won't ever be returning!

The number of negative comments reflects my experience. They couldn’t meet our needs and any changes to choices was a no! This isn’t my experience at Brewster and have been a lot over the years. We visited after a day at cadburys world and I wouldn’t go back or recommend it! They even had the audacity to make me pay more. Luckily I wasn’t that drunk so noticed!!!! The premier inn was ace thou!!!

Terrible service, warm-cold food, dirty plates and cutlery on every table and bloody expensive too. I class wetherspoons as the bog standard in British pubs and even that would have been a cut above this abomination.

Meals ordered for three people. This was a working lunch by three guides planning their units meetings. Third meal arrived 50 minutes after first two who had already finished eating. This was only after chasing it up. To top that rare to medium steak and salad was ordered and what arrived was an over cooked steak with veg and chips.

Later on fish sandwich ordered and hungry and assumed that wouldn't take long. Had to chase that up and 50 minutes later finally arrived. Disgusting service when the restaurant was very quiet.

Im absolutely disgusted at the food we were given today i wouldnt serve an animal the burger my 6 year old was given today lucky he has good taste and spat it out to avoid a bad tummy for christmas day !! It was dry stone cold and served in a dry whole meal bap when i complained he was given a hot dog which we waited a further 20 mins for this was after waiting 40 mins for the 1st mains to arrive my burger was the same cold and had clearly been left out for ages before serving. And the best part no apology or care from any of the staff !

I would really recommend this place if you want to sit in a freezing cold place waiting an hour and a half for you're food, which when it arrives isn't what you ordered and so dry, having to make you're own drinks, all whilst having to put up with rude staff who have their head too busy in their own conversations instead of listening to what we have ordered. The tables are not being cleared, and the soup pot has been left wide open to everyone on the counter next to where tea and coffee are made by the customers. We are STILL sat here waiting for our childrens desserts and we got our table at 5pm. Very very disappointed. Will not be coming here again. Horrendous

Didn't book a table so expected to wait. After approx 25 mins we were shown to our table (party of 5 adults). The floor under the table was littered with food from the previous diners and the chairs were badly stained. The pages of the menu were stuck together with goodness knows what. We waited for what seemed like an eternity for someone to take our order and eventually had to go and ask someone for assistance. Three starters and five main meals were ordered. After a long wait two starters of garlic mushrooms arrived which were overcooked and dry plus one loaded potato skins to share. I notified the waitress that it was the potato skins for one that had been ordered and she went to leave with the plate; I said I'll have it sooner than wait for the correct order but would only pay for the single. She went to speak to the manager and came back and apologised for the error but said the manager couldn't reduce the bill. I asked to speak to the manager and she came back and said it was now sorted. The loaded potato skins were virtually inedible, dry and baked onto the plate with a cheese dip that had a thick dry skin over it. Three main courses were served by the manager which were to an acceptable standard although one was incorrect and had to back to the kitchen, and he said one more meal would arrive shortly and was that everything. We told him there was fifth meal and he asked to be reminded what that was!!!!!!!! By the time the last two meals arrived the other three had been eaten. The toilets were a sight to behold. I know it's the diners who make the mess but toilets full of you know what, tissue strewn all over the floor, slimey mould around the base of the taps is not acceptable. Arrived at 19:30 and left at 22:00. I will certainly not visit or recommend the Brewers Fayre, Rubery.

Went here with my partner yesterday, never been to a Brewers Fayre before! Can honestly say everything was amazing, the staff were really friendly, chatty people and the food was amazing (Had the full rack of ribs) will definitely recommend to anyone and will be sure to swing by again

Bit concerned with presence of security guard at 6pm!

Ordered drinks, very impressed with James the bartender- really friendly polite & helpful with our meal deal order.

Spoke with the lady seating folk and she found us a table and we have all eaten before our reservation was even due!

Soft play area clean and staff friendly.

The food was excellent- steak cooked to perfection, really tasty chips & sweet potato chips too. Very happy- hope breakfast tomorrow is as good! Thanks Brewers Fayre.

We stayed in the premier inn next door for a night, we had evening dinner which we all fully enjoyed and my gf had the best fried egg whites here compared to every else. Had breakfast in the morning which again was lovely. Staff were friendly and the manager couldn't do enough for us, looked clean enough and would definitely go back if we go to Birmingham again.

Had a lovely breakfast this morning with my family, food was constantly replaced and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

When we are we were told only turkey on the carvery due to technical issues. We all, 6 of us, ordered from the main menu. Food arrived in a reasonable time but while it was all correct, some of the meals were warm rather than hot. I think perhaps they had trouble getting all the food ready at the same time. We didn’t send the food back as were were on a tight time schedule. We should have perhaps complained but it was all edible, just not as hot as it should have been. My grandson greatly enjthe soft play and we will return.

Went this evening (12th June) for birthday meal for th first time in a long time.

Greeted by Richard who I later found out is the new manager.

Sorted our table and settled us in. Waited some time for food but when it came I was not impressed- little niggles with food and the lack of staff engagement really got to me. Fed this back to Richard who welcomed the feedback in order that he can help address these issues.

I will go again to see if there are any improvements in a few weeks

Waited a while to be seated, even though it wasn't packed, placed our order, plus 2 hot drinks, waited ages for our cups to be brought over, so I asked someone for 2 cups, she said she'd bring them over, then walked off and started serving someone at the bar, so completely forgot us, then I asked someone else who then after waiting again brought us 2 glasses ( for hot drinks )so had to wait again, finally got our drinks, which weren't very hot,food didn't take long, it was ok but not very hot, asked for the bill, then, the waitress was standing watching while I was sorting out the money , also we wasn't given a menu I had to fetch them myself, ate our food and left.

Had the new York burger thing, burger was lovely chips wasn't that nice to be honest, then I asted to order deserts, and when I ordered them they talk about 20/25 minutes to come out my 2 year old daughter was getting irritated waiting around, then I had enough was gonna get my bill and they had finally came out, wasn't happy at all.

Food is just ok, I've never had a meal and thought mmm that was lovely and it never comes out hot. The prices are quite steep for what you get unless you purchase an offer. I always choose to come back purely because it's local and you can dine in the play part whilst the children play. This section is spacious and always kept clean.

(Instead of till for food and bar for drinks). Or even better table service as it used to be. Place is half empty but constantly turning people away because empty tables are “reserved”. Can only assume they reserve tables for the entire evening instead of letting them be used before people turn up. (Or because they don’t have the staff).

Today I went here with my friends and kids (4 adults and 10 kids) - family friendly I thought. The man that greeted us (Rob) was the most negative person I have dealt with in a restaurant.... have you booked? No, we’ll have to put you on separate tables... that’s fine (the place was hardly rammed).... you’ll have to wait at least an hour for food... That’s fine, that’s what the play area is for isn’t it? Then he left us just standing there. No communication on what he was doing. Then after 5 mins a lady came to show us to our tables. They were no kids menus on the tables- when we asked where they were- we were told they were by the entrance, no helpful oh we’ll get them for you. After all this the food came in 30 mins which was great and the kids had a fab time. But we were all left feeling like Rob didn’t want to give us a table.

friday night I went in, wasnt that busy, 1 till for card and 1 for cash. ordered food..straight forward enough. my friend met me for a drink, went to the bar only to be told only 1 till and the queue was getting longer. The people serving looked lie teenagers. Asked a waiter for my daughters pudding and after him walking past my table 3 times I gave up and left...Friday night..put people on who actually look like they know what they are doing!!

Won’t ever come again. Had 2 bad experiences after the first I thought I may have just come on a bad day, waited 45 mins for food when there was only 3 couples on tables it was very quiet, food was horrible and chewy explained to manager I wasn’t happy about it all and he said he will ask the chef what chicken is used(100% chicken breast is stated in the menu) and didn’t even return or apologise to me! Went today (27/12/17) we arrived, waited about ten minutes to be seated as there was only one member of staff that I could see on shop floor, she sat us at a table and had some drinks whilst waiting for the rest of our party. When we lined up to order our food there was a woman in front of us and a mad behind us, when the woman was finished she asked us to move to one side whilst she served the man behind us. Our food was finally ordered at 14:59, our starters came out after a reasonable amount of time and when finished our plates were collected, an hour and a half later we finally get our food, there’s only 3 of us and there really wasn’t that many people, we did not get an apology for the food being so late, one of the side orders was a plate of cheesy garlic bread, when we picked it up off the plate the bottom was covered in chutney from someone else’s plate/meal when a worker walked past us I asked her to return it to the kitchen because it had someone else’s food all over it, she took the plate from my hand and stormed to the kitchen after 10/15 minutes another woman came from the kitchen and brought out two pieces of cold, soggy garlic bread, not once did we get an apology for any of what had happened whilst we were at this pub, from where we were sat it looked like out of the 4/5 staff that finally appeared out of no where only 1 member of staff was actually working and taking orders and helping the customers, I didn’t get her name but the service from everyone else was disgusting, rude staff that clearly can’t be bothered definitely will not be going here again!!!!!

Went to this dump last night . Bouncers on the door .....its that bad lol . Not full so I ordered a red wine and two soft drinks for my girls. Walked into the eating area and nobody was waiting so I sat myself and 13 and 10 year old daughters down . As I got up to find a menu as there were none available I was confronted by the manager . You can't sit there you have to be seated he said. I said I've found my table and we will sit there . He then told me that if I didn't move to where he wanted me to sit I wouldn't get served . ( pathetic really ) I said stop being a div . I'm sitting here . Next minute a bouncer walks over and says that I have a problem . I said listen mate I'm not staying I'll go over to frankie and bennies over the rd . Even the other bouncer was surprised. I heard him say he has his children with him ??? The manager , a small Asian man with small man syndrome walked over and smiled smugly at me ....like he had won a prize trying to bully myself and my daughter's. I said what are you smiling at ?? Anyway , I ended up calling him a penis ....not in front of my daughter's and I'm now banned .

Well the breakfast is okay-but it'd be really nice if the manager emailed you when he says he would. We had problems with Christmas dinner-mentioned it and he said he'd email us-2 weeks later and I'm still waiting for that email. There's 8 of us come for xmas dinner and have been for 3 years-so much for loyalty being rewarded. After all this the food came in 30 mins which was great and the kids had a fab time. But we were all left feeling like Rob didn’t want to give us a table.

The food i ordered was nice and hot,my husbands was dry and well overcooked. Customer service is poor. Left stood at the entrance so we went to get a drink first,we werent aknowledged by any member of staff-we had to approach them to get a table. Unorganised choas really and it wasnt even busy. Had to wait ages to pay for our food aswell as once again several member of staff just walked past us while we stood waiting to pay.

My 2 sons and I went for lunch yesterday afternoon (22/2/18) when we arrived it didn't look too busy and was seated quite quickly.

There wasn't a menu on our table so had to take one from another .

We ordered our food which then took at least 1 hour to arrive to our table. We ate our meal then my son wanted dessert.

We ordered these which took at least another half an hour is more to arrive .

The service is so slow in there .

Won't be going bk anytime soon.�

I waited almost 45 mins for food to be brought to the table even though the restaurant was hardly full. As we got our food, we had no cutlery and no check backs on our food until we was almost done and staff literally walking around doing nothing. I'm so reluctant to come back here to eat

friday night I went in, wasnt that busy, 1 till for card and 1 for cash. ordered food..straight forward enough. my friend met me for a drink, went to the bar only to be told only 1 till and the queue was getting longer. The people serving looked lie teenagers. Asked a waiter for my daughters pudding and after him walking past my table 3 times I gave up and left...Friday night..put people on who actually look like they know what they are doing!!

Won’t ever come again. Had 2 bad experiences after the first I thought I may have just come on a bad day, waited 45 mins for food when there was only 3 couples on tables it was very quiet, food was horrible and chewy explained to manager I wasn’t happy about it all and he said he will ask the chef what chicken is used(100% chicken breast is stated in the menu) and didn’t even return or apologise to me! Girls who work behind the till are lovely other and kept apologising. Never again

Without doubt the worst place I’ve been to in terms of service.

What an abysmal failure this place is, 2 nights in a row and the food was a mixture of over cooked and rock hard, with stone cold mash and slimy green beans, not impressed and will not be returning.

Went today (27/12/17) we arrived, waited about ten minutes to be seated as there was only one member of staff that I could see on shop floor, she sat us at a table and had some drinks whilst waiting for the rest of our party. When we lined up to order our food there was a woman in front of us and a mad behind us, when the woman was finished she asked us to move to one side whilst she served the man behind us. Our food was finally ordered at 14:59, our starters came out after a reasonable amount of time and when finished our plates were collected, an hour and a half later we finally get our food, there’s only 3 of us and there really wasn’t that many people, we did not get an apology for the food being so late, one of the side orders was a plate of cheesy garlic bread, when we picked it up off the plate the bottom was covered in chutney from someone else’s plate/meal when a worker walked past us I asked her to return it to the kitchen because it had someone else’s food all over it, she took the plate from my hand and stormed to the kitchen after 10/15 minutes another woman came from the kitchen and brought out two pieces of cold, soggy garlic bread, not once did we get an apology for any of what had happened whilst we were at this pub, from where we were sat it looked like out of the 4/5 staff that finally appeared out of no where only 1 member of staff was actually working and taking orders and helping the customers, I didn’t get her name but the service from everyone else was disgusting, rude staff that clearly can’t be bothered definitely will not be going here again!!!!!

Went to this dump last night . Bouncers on the door .....its that bad lol . Not full so I ordered a red wine and two soft drinks for my girls. Walked into the eating area and nobody was waiting so I sat myself and 13 and 10 year old daughters down . As I got up to find a menu as there were none available I was confronted by the manager . You can't sit there you have to be seated he said. I said I've found my table and we will sit there . He then told me that if I didn't move to where he wanted me to sit I wouldn't get served . ( pathetic really ) I said stop being a div . I'm sitting here . Next minute a bouncer walks over and says that I have a problem . I said listen mate I'm not staying I'll go over to frankie and bennies over the rd . Even the other bouncer was surprised. I heard him say he has his children with him ??? The manager , a small Asian man with small man syndrome walked over and smiled smugly at me ....like he had won a prize trying to bully myself and my daughter's. I said what are you smiling at ?? Anyway , I ended up calling him a penis ....not in front of my daughter's and I'm now banned .

1stly I'm ashamed I was in there in the 1sy place . 2ndly I'm ashamed I was in there in the 1st place . Bad people skills . Poor hygiene. Tables weren't clean . A silly little man with an ego problem in charge . Read the other reviews....Im ashamed I'm barred from a scruffy little hole ���

Went for the 1st time In a while and the place was a shambles pool table in the sitting area with kid's jumping and screaming on it tables covered in old drinks and food stickers covering the sticky tables food and condiments all over the floor...

Real shame it's gone to pot....�

Well the breakfast is okay-but it'd be really nice if the manager emailed you when he says he would. We had problems with Christmas dinner-mentioned it and he said he'd email us-2 weeks later and I'm still waiting for that email. There's 8 of us come for xmas dinner and have been for 3 years-so much for loyalty being rewarded. Oh and we chased this with the deputy manager (Welsh guy) and he said he'd make sure that he does email us.

We went to great park pub as regular customers but after having a bad food experience in January 2018 we have not eaten there again until today. Unfortunately the food was just as terrible I had a half a chicken and chips, the chicken was very much over done and very small and boney uneatable. We waited 45 minutes for our main meals which is unacceptable but we didn't have a receipt to get our money back as the manager was too interested in getting back to watching the England football game. His attitude towards my husband who tried to order my 10 year olds pudding at the same time as his main meal was terrible as he said he couldn't do that when ordering his meal.

Turned up for my birthday meal and was turned away as no tables free but when we looked the place was empty with loads of free tables. The guy on the door was very rude indeed and we would never go there again.



Went to Generous George who was full but they accommodated us and made a seating area for us to sit and eat our lovely meal.

Took a party of 15 for a festive work meal. We had booked in advance for 1.30, we were seated on separate tables which was unexpected and not ideal but do able, we were then told about a wait of 40 mins for food so we ordered quickly. Starters arrived after about 30 mins and were cold, some of the order was wrong so some had to wait longer.which were also cold....then mains followed over an hour after the starters which was mediocre at best and again not hot.except for the roast potatos the festive dinner wasn't as nice as any of us thought it would be even those who ordered from normal menu were dissappointed. After waiting on desserts for another 45 mins we asked them to hustle twice , it was only on the 2nd time they came and told us they didn't have some of what we had ordered so had to make a different selection...after another long wait I had to cancel quite a few desserts as people had to leave!! All in all not a good experience.we finally left at 5.45 and our table was booked at 1.30. Arrived home to find an email thanking us for cancelling our table !!!! Place seems understaffed and disorganised.wouldnt have minded of placed was stacked out but it wasn't that busy.

Sorry won't ever be returning!

The number of negative comments reflects my experience. They couldn’t meet our needs and any changes to choices was a no! This isn’t my experience at Brewster and have been a lot over the years. We visited after a day at cadburys world and I wouldn’t go back or recommend it! They even had the audacity to make me pay more. Luckily I wasn’t that drunk so noticed!!!! The premier inn was ace thou!!!

Terrible service, warm-cold food, dirty plates and cutlery on every table and bloody expensive too. I class wetherspoons as the bog standard in British pubs and even that would have been a cut above this abomination.



Just the worst.

Shocking place. Asked if we could sit and were told no as they were very busy (doing nothing), ignored by what I assume was the manager, putting reserved signs on tables that weren’t even being used when we left. Food was terrible and the staff couldn’t give a monkeys about customer service. Needless to say we won’t be going back. Sorry state of affairs.

Waited ages after ordering food n both my started and main came at the same time. Pate was crumbly and tasteless and the bread barely toasted. I know lamb is a little fatty but OMG more fat than meat on the lamb shank bone

Meals ordered for three people. This was a working lunch by three guides planning their units meetings. Third meal arrived 50 minutes after first two who had already finished eating. This was only after chasing it up. To top that rare to medium steak and salad was ordered and what arrived was an over cooked steak with veg and chips.

Later on fish sandwich ordered and hungry and assumed that wouldn't take long. Had to chase that up and 50 minutes later finally arrived. Disgusting service when the restaurant was very quiet.

Im absolutely disgusted at the food we were given today i wouldnt serve an animal the burger my 6 year old was given today lucky he has good taste and spat it out to avoid a bad tummy for christmas day !! It was dry stone cold and served in a dry whole meal bap when i complained he was given a hot dog which we waited a further 20 mins for this was after waiting 40 mins for the 1st mains to arrive my burger was the same cold and had clearly been left out for ages before serving. And the best part no apology or care from any of the staff !

I would really recommend this place if you want to sit in a freezing cold place waiting an hour and a half for you're food, which when it arrives isn't what you ordered and so dry, having to make you're own drinks, all whilst having to put up with rude staff who have their head too busy in their own conversations instead of listening to what we have ordered. The tables are not being cleared, and the soup pot has been left wide open to everyone on the counter next to where tea and coffee are made by the customers. We are STILL sat here waiting for our childrens desserts and we got our table at 5pm. Very very disappointed. Will not be coming here again. Horrendous

Didn't book a table so expected to wait. After approx 25 mins we were shown to our table (party of 5 adults). The floor under the table was littered with food from the previous diners and the chairs were badly stained. The pages of the menu were stuck together with goodness knows what. We waited for what seemed like an eternity for someone to take our order and eventually had to go and ask someone for assistance. Three starters and five main meals were ordered. After a long wait two starters of garlic mushrooms arrived which were overcooked and dry plus one loaded potato skins to share. I notified the waitress that it was the potato skins for one that had been ordered and she went to leave with the plate; I said I'll have it sooner than wait for the correct order but would only pay for the single. She went to speak to the manager and came back and apologised for the error but said the manager couldn't reduce the bill. I asked to speak to the manager and she came back and said it was now sorted. The loaded potato skins were virtually inedible, dry and baked onto the plate with a cheese dip that had a thick dry skin over it. Three main courses were served by the manager which were to an acceptable standard although one was incorrect and had to back to the kitchen, and he said one more meal would arrive shortly and was that everything. We told him there was fifth meal and he asked to be reminded what that was!!!!!!!! By the time the last two meals arrived the other three had been eaten. The toilets were a sight to behold. I know it's the diners who make the mess but toilets full of you know what, tissue strewn all over the floor, slimey mould around the base of the taps is not acceptable. Arrived at 19:30 and left at 22:00. I will certainly not visit or recommend the Brewers Fayre, Rubery.

Awful, waited an hour to be seated (which is fine they were honest about that). Then we were told it would be an hour to get food.
