Lovely stop over had a lovely .

dinner lovely breakfast staff were very pleasant

First time been here .Was greeted quickly and chose our own table. The courses came out on time.Enjoyed our meal at a very busy restaurant, they were 'short-staffed" as they had to keep running to attend to other customers. The staff was amazing our waitress/helper Viola could not do enough for us she made us feel very welcome,she was polite and professional. Will be back next time!

This was our second visit in two weeks . A little wait but would rather have the food cooked properly.staff friendly helpful and we got a seat near the play area the second time and even had a conversation with the car park attendant ! All these ppl that rate a one we obviously went to a diff place however I did trap my thumb on the tap in the ladies but this wasn’t their fault ..... I would gladly go again can’t wait with refillable coffee and coke Who could want more ??

Helpful staff in organising a birthday party for a large number. Disappointed that 2 of the 3 roast meats on the carvery ran out before we could get served. Food ok - had better carvery meals in other restaurants for a cheaper price. Very strange soup - mushroom and sherry :/ ??

We were initially served by a lovely waitress who was very welcoming but Im afraid our experience went downhill from there!!

My partner and I ordered two drinks and both glasses had water marks all over and looked unclean. Our food was luke warm, apart from my chicken that had OBVIOUSLY been microwaved!! I had barely any chips and, of the ones I got, they were pretty inedible!! And to top it all off, there was a hair in my partner's coleslaw!! All in all a very disappointing experience :-(

I asked for a medium rare rump steak and got a piece of meat charred on one side under cooked on the other, the inside was more like medium well, chips dry and peas undercooked, very disappointing �

My husband and myself decided to pop out for lunch, we had a buy one get one free main, cheap and cheerful, we decided both to have the £16:99 ribeye � my husbands was delicious mine however tasted of cleaning fluid, the did replace but no sorry can we offer you a free drink or a pud for the bad experience, not even a sorry from the manager, won’t be going there again

When it did arrive the chicken was burnt, the chicken burger wasn't cooked properly, the steak was very chewy, chips and onion rings burnt, and it was all luke warm. Advise you to have 2nd and 3rd choices to hand as they may well not have what you want .

If I would of waited it would of been stone cold. Service was great staff were lovely but the chef needs sacking honestly. My partners company paid for his food but I was unlucky enough to pay. Hardly any chips hardly any chicken on the half a chicken. I would of cooked it better at home myself gutted after a long journey here. When we visit again we won’t even be eating here even though his meal is free which says it all. When his food arrived burger bun soggy, he left chips which he never does, ate the chicken but the beer batter tasted like fish.....overall absolutely shit don’t waste your cash spend it elsewhere!!! Only positive thing is the bar staff are very helpful, nice and only make it better.

We have just walked away from the most expensive over cooked frozen meal we have ever paid for.. would not recommend and would not eat here again! Shameful!

We had an evening meal and my husbands burger was completely black we had it replaced my fish pie was nice but Luke warm, also found there to be lots of staff walking around but took 20 mins to be served at the bar, then went in for breakfast the next morning and no hot food for 15 mins then by the time got to our turn no sausages or bacon left and told to wait again, really poor service

Sadly it was not a good experience tonight after waiting for 35 minutes for the starters I had to go and ask where they were to find they had lost the ticket, main course was not the best garlic bread not cooked and sweet potato chips that were burnt. When I went and asked for the kids puddings they couldn’t find the ticket( this was probably because they were bought out, and sent back before the starters). I will not be returning. I did say to staff that this was not a good meal but felt like I was shrugged off �

Sadly Elmbury Lodge has really gone downhill recently. Restaurant was cold, they forgot our mains even though someone walked past us numerous times and failed to collect the starter plates, food was cold when it arrived and not as it should have been. Staff don’t seem to care when you tell them there is a problem, and to top it off we were overcharged! When having the lunchtime menu, two meals for £8.99, make sure you check your bill as we were charged for two full priced meals. We wont be using the restaurant again.
