About Brewers Fayre

At Brewers Fayre we've thought of everything. Great value, great food, great family friendly atmosphere; we've got the lot. Our menu is packed full of family favourites all freshly prepared by our trained Chefs. Kembrey Inn was built on the site of an old factory building & opened as a Brewers Fayre in 2005. Since then we have built up a loyal following of locals, who know us as a great place for freshly cooked pub food, friendly service & excellent value. We're the ideal place to enjoy a meal after visiting the nearby Designer Outlet Village, The Oasis Centre or Swindon Greyhounds

We did our twice a week lunch myself and my daughter had the normal chicken and bacon salad the chicken was a frozen fillet but not frozen on our plate pink no taste couldn't eat it had to complain and the waitress Laura was absolutely lovely and helpful, she gave me my money back and also we had a free pudding each. Again thankyou to laura and we will be back...

Hadn't been here for a while as the food and staff were appalling. .But credit were due, I returned yesterday and was pleasantly surprised how it had turned around. In tow with Hubby and 3 grandkids. We all had a lovely meal. The big burgers were really enjoyed by hubby and oldest grandchild, grandaughter had lasagne which was was good and presented well ,5 yr old had chicken nuggets of which he enjoyed and I had haddock n chips which was really good fish had a lovely crispy batter and very fresh. The staff were friendly and attentative. Well done on this occasion .And yes we will go again. We were there at around 5pm it wasn't busy then but by 6pm it was pretty much full owing to the curry night. As we left we had a quick look at the Indian Buffett and it looked not bad for the money.

Went for Sunday Dinner yesterday with my parents and the CARVERY was amazing it’s just a pity the lady on till doesn’t listen properly to customers orders properly, otherwise I’d have given you 5 stars. But won’t put my parents off going again!!!

Went on Wednesday. Inedible steak - tough as old boots and the veg were a pile of soggy green mush. Complained, but staff completely uninterested and offered no resolution.

Went for a carvery at 14.30 yesterday, went to the bar they menchoned there's no beef but gammon we all ordered our carvery we found our own seats as no staff around, went to get our carverys hardly no gammon about 6 potatoes left (wet & soggy) stuffing (rock hard) and no vegetables. Will never go there again I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to go there again. This is not the first time.

We hadn't been to the Kembrey for a while. Now I remember why! It wasn't busy but we still waited 45 minutes for 2 adult mains and a child's starter and main. My mixed grill was at best edible, my wife's burger was cremated but my daughter's pasta and meatballs had obviously been warmed up in a microwave. It had been overcooked and was disgusting. The veg dips weren't any better. The carrots hadn't been peeled and the peppers were over ripe and mushy. When we complained all the staff did was offer a refund. I don't want the money back I want my daughter to have food she can eat! We will not be going back again and I recommend you go elsewhere too.

The worst food i have ever paid for what a waste of money didn't eat it none of us did the roast dinner is by far the worst I have ever seen the turkey wasn't even cooked properly. The soup was like water. And the whole plate was swimming in fatty gravy!!! I will never ever come back here again
