Were seated straight away although busy and no reservation, drink orders taken straight away, food order taken quickly. Food arrived in good time and was beautiful! Had the vegan burger and Belgium waffle for dessert. Service and food great!

Went today for hubby's birthday and could not be happier with the service we received. Both the manager and waiter were lovely and friendly and also chatty with the children which was nice to see. The food was lovely, the carvery was gorgeous and the man serving at Carvery counter was very friendly. Great value for money, excellent service, will be going back in a few weeks for daughters birthday. Thank You xx

For one person service was great waited a few mins for a drink but it was busy asked for a table found one in 5 mins after that service was fast and efficient and the food was good what i didnt now was it was all you can eat fish n chips that wasnt advertised too well untill i was sat down and ordered and saw a screen roll round with it on otherwise good all round eatery

We asked if we could have a different mash with the lamb shank, but when it came to the table it was the one on the menu, plus when w asked for the bill the young man who was front of house didn't bring it, we had to ask again. Probably would return but would expect an improvement on the service.

The choice of desserts was very minimal but when we finally received it they informed us they forgot about the kid's desserts, felt very uncomfortable trying to enjoy while the kid's were waiting for there's, no apologies. Would I go back I very much doubt it!!

Booked for a family breakfast as it's a premier Inn breakfast so you know it will be good and exactly what you get.... WRONG! they don't cook the hot food fresh which is why we chose a premier inn. The cooked selection was mediocre the fresh fruit wasn't fresh and consisted of old floppy melon or pineapple. Bread selection was a bit basic and they don't do the premier inn pancakes which a lot of people were asking dor. Heard the manager saying theirs was a better selection....im nor sure how and I think I would disagree. Also would have been nice if someone could have cleared away the pots on table. Ended up doing it myself.

We didn't book and the duty manager, said he would try and get us in. Then after a few minutes found us a table. Which was a bit of a joke as the restaurant was only 1/4 full and stayed that way for the 2 hours we were there.

Think we sat on the only table the staff could not see. Every one got served before us, to the point I went to the bar to order. Then got told off, for trying to order.(waitress service now)

We did have some entertainment. They let in 3 drunk lads in who caused a seen. The staff didn't no how to handle them. Very unprofessional. Overall, this place has gone down hill, which is a shame because it used to be really nice. Will be sticking to Steaming Billy, never had a bad meal there and the staff are friendly.

I booked a surprise birthday for my husband I delivered two lots of menu choices from the guests and then the menu changed. Also was told we would be upstairs but we were seated downstairs was annoyed. Didn’t have a table for the cake either. Food was good though

Spoke to one of the staff and they didn’t seem to care.. great way to waste £18 if you like throwing your cash down the bog �

Phoned ahead to check vegan meal availability. Had to wait for an hour even though not busy. Very dry vegan burger, wilted green salad. Chips nice. Despite informing them my mother was disabled they sat us up some stairs furthest away from from toilets. Got really cross when waiter started patting my arm. Wouldn’t go back there ever again.

Only serve food at certain tables. Our table was outside the main entrance and numbered. There were no other tables available after queuing for service to be told we dont serve food to that table. Ridiculous dont bother went down the road instead.

If you only have certain tables you will serve food to, why not put some notices up? Waste of time....

I paid at the bar & the bar man walked away so I had to ask for my wine- he then poured a glass of white- I asked for rose. I then sat to wait for my food. After an hour and 25 minutes I left. I won't be returning. This is really disappointing as I stay in the premier inn next to the brewers every week, but will look for somewhere else to have a meal every night now�

Honestly the experience was shocking from start to finish, firstly we waited 10 minutes to be seated even though it was quiet, only to be greated by a manager that seemed less than bothered by the face we had waiting so long. We waiting for our starters for 20 minutes and our mains where a further 30 minutes, once we got the started the sauce that came with the meal was to disgusting to eat, at first we all had a laugh and a joke about it until the main came, it quite frankly wasn't worth the money. The chips had clearly been Sat on a hot plate for far too long and my salad was wilted, when asked how it was I stated my chips where not nice, and she did bring me some more, which honestly where still dry. My dad made it clear we weren't happy about the wait and we where initially presented with a Whopping bill of £61. After saying I wasn't prepared to pay this we did get discount however we have still left feeling awful. 2 hours of our life wasted! Don't go. For added measure we did tip the poor waitress who bared the brunt of this all, the managers should be ashamed.

The chips had clearly been Sat on a hot plate for far too long and my salad was wilted, when asked how it was I stated my chips where not nice, and she did bring me some more, which honestly where still dry. My dad made it clear we weren't happy about the wait and we where initially presented with a Whopping bill of £61. After saying I wasn't prepared to pay this we did get discount however we have still left feeling awful. 2 hours of our life wasted! Don't go. For added measure we did tip the poor waitress who bared the brunt of this all, the managers should be ashamed.
