We had a lovely time it is a lovely pub and the breakfast were great " really big and nothing was any trouble to them we will certainly go again " l lees Mrs.

I’m surprised at the low ratings on hear. This is the second visit in a month and both times had speedy service , good sized meals and everything was available. Cheerful lad behind the bar. I’m happy to recommend and will be going back!

Had my daughter birthday party today. I’ve booked table online and confirmed day before. When we arrived everything was prepared waiting for us! Lovely table for 16 children all decorated � side tables reserved for parents. Very good prices and food came out quickly and all together. Lovely staff and atmosphere. My daughter and her friends had lovely time!

Had a rack of pork ribs in Jack Daniels glaze, a bit messy to eat, could have done with a side plate for the bones but otherwise my meal was very good, would have it again. My wife’s sirloin was cooked as she’d asked and the whole meal and service was excellent. Good choice of beers including guest cask. Have not had a bad pint here yet .

Food excellent service excellent nice cool air conditioning will b going back next time we are in Crewe

A treat night for the kids,our 2nd visit here,food was ok just a shame about the 45 minute wait for it to arrive and the same sort of wait for desserts,even tho it wasnt very busy for a saturday evening,an improvement on our 1st visit.if the chef is after a payrise he/she needs pick up the pace a little.

Went today hoping for a quick lunch, the place was far from busy yet we waiting an hour for a kids meal , a salad and a sandwich.



Asked the staff how long it would be and they said they would check but never returned, walked out after waiting another 30 minutes for one child's ice cream.

Missed the 2 for £8.99 by 5 mins. Ordered at bar prawn cocktail and chicken wings for starters only to be told no chicken wings. So order paté instead along with lasagne for me and a beef, cheese & mushroom burger for the other half.

Half way through starter told now got no garlic bread with my lasagne as only have delivery on a Tuesday....wtf so asked for onion rings instead.......came cremated and only got 2..........

Won't be returning any time soon. And it all cost £35.

50 minute wait for food, which we weren't warned about when we ordered, my partners sons food came within 20 minutes so by the time ours arrived he was finished. The chips were reheated, the egg on my partners mixed grill was really undercooked and the steak was burnt, and his son couldn't eat some of the food on his plate because it was rock hard - he thoughtfully gave us a demonstration of this by tapping the food against his glass so we could hear the noise it made �



When the waitress came to clear the table

I told her that we weren't really that happy with the food - her response "ok Shall I get the manager to come and talk to you to arrange a refund" so I said yes please



20 minutes later **crickets**



I eventually found the manager myself, who apologised as she'd not been told that we wanted to speak with her lol.

Understandably she tried to give valid reasons as to why this had all happened. "The steaks are all cooked together" and?

"There's always a 30 minute wait" (we waited nearly an hour)

"As you can see We're really busy" ( It was totally dead, like in my line of vision there was not a single person)

Obviously scripted standard responses for complaints �

It was the last one that made me think, no I just want the money back, and told her that the waitress has suggested this would happen which clearly annoyed her because she blatantly rolled her eyes when I told her.

It just made me think that she was trying to pluck nonsense excuses out of the air rather than acknowledge that it was a shambles really.

Anyhow at least we were refunded, but it's unlikely we'll go back for food. Although we were happy with the way our complaint was eventually dealt with.

Arrived for grandsons birthday meal but despite the place being nearly empty (23rd December you’d expect to be fighting for a table) we were placed in a raised area where all were seated at separate tables. Hardly the opportunity to enjoy good conversation and company. Food took a while to arrive and to be fair it was good value for money, but no check backs made by the staff or asking if needed anything else such as sauces etc. Plates were only cleared from 5 of the party so we’re left to sit with piles of crockery while we had another drink and waited for the sweets to arrive. We waited and waited and waited........and waited still further despite some having been preordered with the mains. An hour later had to chase and they were with us within 5 minutes, so we’d obviously been forgotten 🤔. God forbid what it would have been like if it had been busy-we’d have probably still been there to see Santa coming down the chimney!!! Recommend for the food-yes, but everything else was poor and to add, the room temperature was stifling hot which didn’t add to the comfort levels. Could do much better I would say 😟

Well went for tea tonight and I no they where busy Nd behind on food but tonight's meal of mixed grill was utter disgrace asked for well done steak, it was pink than asked for a extra peppercorn never got it even tho paid extra for it and then the Mrs had a tandoori mixed grill and that was sheer rank will most deffo not be going there again good job we had a buy 1 get 1 free voucher has would never paid 35 quid plus for the 2 meals and 2 drinks how it was that busy is beyond me !!

This has gone proper down the tubes, but i hasten to add its not the ladies who wait on. The management must take full ownership of how bad the place is, and needs some strong guidence to bring it back up to the required standard.

Told the play barn was closed due to lack of staff.

Shame that the 4 idle staff standing laughing behind the bar couldn't help and open the play barn

Even laughed at my god daughter as she got upset when said it was closed

Your stated opening times etc on your doors so all should be open.



When the pub closes and you loose your job just thank your uncooperative staff. ���

Don't bother trying to eat here as a group. Food comes at random intervals so no one is able to eat together. Half will have to finish meal before the other half gets theirs or wait and eat it cold. Also loads missing from meals and have to chase up to receive whole meal as per the menu. Plates for mains weren't cleared for 45 minutes and only were when wasn't room on table to put puddings. Eat elsewhere. Life's too short for the wait for food here.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Waited way over an hour for our food that was not worth the wait or the money we paid.

First time for 3 years we tried the brocklebank this evening, after waiting in a queue for 15 mins while 2 idiots argued about whether to have sambuka or tequila, I was told that there would be an hour wait for food, got to be honest I was looking round for a camera I believed that we were part of some tv prank show, needless to say I got out of there pdq, I would advise anybody to give this inn a wide berth customer service non existent, see you in another 3 years,,,,, maybe.

Family walked in today with their children

One was celebrating her 8th birthday.

Told the play barn was closed due to lack of staff.

Shame that the 4 idle staff standing laughing behind the bar couldn't help and open the play barn

Even laughed at my god daughter as she got upset when said it was closed

Your stated opening times etc on your doors so all should be open.



When the pub closes and you loose your job just thank your uncooperative staff. ���

Don't bother trying to eat here as a group. Food comes at random intervals so no one is able to eat together. Half will have to finish meal before the other half gets theirs or wait and eat it cold. Also loads missing from meals and have to chase up to receive whole meal as per the menu. Plates for mains weren't cleared for 45 minutes and only were when wasn't room on table to put puddings. Eat elsewhere. Life's too short for the wait for food here.
