Never had an issue in this place me and the family love it we eat hear once a week as I have a few kids can get expensive with so many kids there breakfast is delicious as well and there curry night is a must try best meal I have ever eaten xxxx

User

It's not posh . But my food has always been lovely as it was yesterday thanks to the lovely staff.

1 point I'm never sure about tips as one says give it to individual staff and now says we have a pot for tips your guess is good as mine.

I think they must have taken notice of previous reviews as service last night was so much better than last time. Service very friendly - steak was one of the best I've ever had!!

And told no need to pay for parking after 6.00pm

User

Breakfast was a delight, rolled in just before breakfast finished, told to clear as much as we could, lovely jubbly.

The buffet nights are good quality unlimited foods, brewers fayre Exeter have nice friendly staff making it a good place to have lunch

User

Was ok for a quick meal as we stayed at the Premier Inn. Bar service was good, although they cleared the table and drinks to set up breakfast while we ordered puddings at the bar!

User

Was not pleased that the food and multiple people on the table had problems with either undercooked or overcooked food but after no one came round to the tables to check if everything was OK we we went to the bar and asked who to talk to about complaints. We spoke to a very helpful member of staff called Lauren and her customer service was amazing and she was so kind and helpful couldn't fault her one bit. Thank you x

Nothing special & a nuisance that you have to pay a £2 parking & get a refund when you order your meal. I paid cash for car park, but got it off my card payment for meal....needed the cash really. Service is good, surroundings not too good, meal ok for price. Fish pie not very tasty & like instant mash on top all slushy. I had a voucher so didn't have to pay for one meal. I would never go there & pay full price.

It was ok’ish they had run out a lot on the menu and ran out of doombar and all they could say about it we have a delivery tomorrow my brother wanted a mixed grill but was told they didn’t have the steak for a mixed grill but have other steaks so he said well put one of those on it and was told they can’t do that disappointed or what

Wow it's shocking! No customer service, everyone looks miserable, no one seemed to mention that it's about 30-45 min wait for food! You can imagine how annoying this is especially with a 2 year old who is starving, then a few tables around us who came in after got their food before we did! Mentioned to one of the staff members with no apology and just didn't seem interested! Will not be going again!

We went to Brewers Fayre tonight to celebrate my husbands birthday. There was 5 adults. Unfortunately at 6.45 they had run out of several of the items on the menu so on the 4th choice my husband picked the beef and ale pie. This came with a scone on the top and when he was partway through also came with a piece of plastic! We pointed this out to the waiter and he brought over what I presume was the manager. Very apologetic and offered the meal for free. At this point we explained we had the 2 4 1 vouchers. When we paid we did have the meal for free but it was the 2 4 1 so in fact we had nothing but the apology. The meal came to over £80 so was not a cheap night out. Can only say we are so disappointed and would think twice about going there again.

User

Needs a update as it was not very clean had a evening meal and breakfast the day after but the table had not been cleaned since we dined the night before

Went for an evening meal on Friday 22nd June as the food is generally great and so is the service. We all ordered together to the same table as usual. However firstly, there was a 30minutes delay between the first meal and the next meal to come out, when the food did come out it was stone cold. When we complained the waitress very kindly gave us free puddings. However after eating our obviously reheated food and getting home, the past 12 hours both myself and my partner have had incredibly upset stomachs. I had the smothered chicken and he had the chicken and rib stack. Needless to say we won't be coming back anytime soon, a real shame as it was one of our favourite places to eat!

User

Very poor service, didn’t have half of what was on the menu and wouldn’t offer anything to compromise shortages. Beer run out. Just glad I don’t run a business like they do, I’d be out of business. In the past, great service at their other restaurants but not this one. Would I recommend, the answer is a big fat NO!!!!’

User

Plenty of empty tables. Plenty of uncleared tables. Told no for walk ins even though it's serve yourself?

Ridiculous. Advertised in the premier inn next door as "go for out breakfast!"

But if we would have pre paid we would have been let in?

What's the difference we would have paid before hand or paid on the day?

Don't even bother going. There's a subway across the road and a Greggs down the road aswell.

User

Only 1 star as the front of house manager did give a refund for the food.

Ordered chicken burger and two medium steaks, steaks came very well done so cooks (I'm not going to grace them with the word chef) obviously don't know timings.

Then 3 bites into chicken burger I find that it is pink in the middle.

I can deal with getting a steak wrong, but risking food poisoning by not being able to cut and check chicken before serving is unforgivable.

Please, please do something about this place, please train the staff and please check food leaving the kitchen, it is an accident waiting to happen!

User

Just came here for breakfast the plates were absolutely disgusting. Dried on food that they can’t wash off properly. Never coming back again

User

Food is absolutely shocking we are staying here at the Premier Inn every night every meal absolute crap the only food you can rely on is the sausage egg and chips even these can't get that wrong
