Your staff were outstanding. I phoned ahead and told the staff I was bringing my autistic child in for a meal, I was allowed to phone his meal ahead. We got there and was allowed to sit anywhere, and even in the cordoned off area if we needed some space and quiet. Our food came with 2 or 3 minutes and my son loved it. My son has not been able to eat in a resteraunt for 2 years due to his anxiety and challenging behaviours. We will be bringing him back regularly here. Fantastic. Thank you so much for making this a positive experience.

We came here for my friends birthday lunch today, we had a great time. My little boy is 10 months old and made a complete mess which the staff helped tidy up and made me feel very relaxed about. We were served by dave who was absolutely lovely, he came and made sure everything was OK and kept my little boy entertained, he was a very lovely man. Thank you �

We made a reservation on Easter Sunday. Lady on the phone was really polite and quite jokey which made booking fun. We arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes earlier than our booking. Lady at the desk remembered me calling earlier which was nice and showed us to our table. We decided we wanted the carvery and my daughter a kids meal. Food was okay and hot. Only criticism would be that we didn't really know what was included with the Carvery. A carvery menu would have been good so we would know if the 2 course meal was only starter and main or if we could have had a dessert instead and which desserts were available. Other than that staff were polite and service was okay. We were in and out within an hour.

Staff are always polite did not have to wait long for food had lamb shank lovely hubby had mixed grill eggs were nice and runny he said it was all nice, had a pudding must admit have had better lemon meringue but was okay plenty of cream, other sweet was summer berry pudding he enjoyed that

I've read some negative reviews on here, but my first time experience was OK. I was with family at a birthday party (booked) meal for about 14 people. The food was very good. I had the Xmas dinner & Xmas pudding, good cheap price as well. The staff were nice too. You can choose from the menu or go for the carvery option. Nice cosy decor etc.

This the third time we have been at this time of year, to attend a large motorcycle trial not far away. But disappointingly the service has not appeared to have altered in any way since the first time. Big problem was lack of staff, we booked a table for 1900 and finally received our main course at 2130, some which had to be returned. The manager was very apologetic but when you’ve had a journey of 300 miles, poor service is not what you need. Hope to find an improvement when we possibly return next year.

All warm main courses for vegetarians were unavailable the other night when we went, which was a shame as we had two vegetarians at the table out of 4.

The food they did produce was alright and overall the staff were quite apologetic.

Restaurant not busy but waited 35/40 mins for my wife and I meals to come out, only warm verging on cold, we believe the meals were prepared but then forgotten, the young members of staff were stood behind the bar having a good matter!! To be fair we have dined here many times before and always been satisfied and will go again but staff need to keep their eyes on the ball and get those meals out whilst they are HOT.

Table was layed but still very skicky, we asked for my wife who has coeliac the manager didn't know what she could eat and what she couldn't even with the book in his hands of allergies and he says he eats gluten free food himself! The service was so slow that the lady on the next table actually works there but off duty as she was having meal with her family, got up cleared our empty plates as they have been there for quite a while, were that slow that she also had to tell them we're waiting for our desserts. The restaurant was not that busy neither as we booked our table for 17:30 Poor performance all round.

I didn't feel to hungry so I just ordered soup, i was very disappointed it was like water, I know it was only 1.99 but they could make more of an effort I sent it back and the manager apologised my husband's meal was very poor also. Would not recomend it, as I am sure they could do better.

Disappointed -,stayed at the premier inn next door and was looking forward to an ok meal with a few drinks not having to worry about driving. So wish we had gone somewhere else - completely took the enjoyment out of the weekend away from home. Stock was low and so had to change menu choices a couple of times - even ran out of strawberries so my son couldn't share the fondue. Very few staff about and service was slow - waiting up to 40 mins for food. Why do we have to put up with such rubbish this day and age. Hope the breakfast is better in the morning.

Have been here many times before but unfortunately this time it let us down, the table was wiped but very very sticky, we waited a long time for our starters to arrive which were nice but the wait let us down. Then waiting for the plates to be cleared just didn't happen untill our main arrived which also took quite a long time , I had cold chips and peas but boiling hot scampie, so clearly the chef didn't get his timings right on this occasion. My partners food was barely warm but we didn't bother to complain as there wasn't many people about serving even though it was pretty quiet .

It's a shame we experienced such bad food and service as plenty of previous occasions have been ok .

Really not impressed!! Brought the kids for tea since to the aldershot branch as my husband is deployed, so I fancied a night off cooking. Ordered our food at 1740 1845 came and still no food. I asked at the bar how long our food would be 20 minutes later food came out, 2 lots of cold and hard portions of cod tastic and a very over cooked chicken tikka and I don't know who got our starters but I hope they enjoyed them

Paid £54 for the worst meal we've ever had. We had to wait 90 minutes for the food to arrive as they were short staffed and when it did it was luke warm, burger was dry, chips under cooked, the whole thing was awful. We were so fed up by this point we left. Never eat there again!!

Only ordered a couple of puddings. Took 45 minutes to arrive which was odd as the place wasn't busy (watched the whole of the 1st half of England vs Malta while waiting...).



When they arrived, the crumble and custard was cold and had to be returned. A bit like England, 2nd try was better but still "average" at best. Will not be returning..

Dirty cups , glasses and plates just laying around..

Purchased Coca Cola refill ... had to que to ask where the machine was hidden around a corner.

Starter was Nachos ... very poor £7.99 for a bag of nacho crisps and a few strands of cheese the most expensive crisps I have ever bought..

The area around table 76 about 8 tables all were in a state of disarray

Not been cleaned or relayed after previous diners had left

Cutlery and napkins left at random

Despite this waited forty minutes for our meals to arrive

Clearly forgotten about as they came 5 minutes later after I complained

My steak asked for medium rare it was still mooing

Sent back to be cooked a tad more

My partners steak surposed to be well done was still bleeding as well

When I complained to the waitress and asked for my comment to be passed to the manage either she didn't relay my discontent

Or he couldn't be bothered

Needless to say

will not be going aging , and had I not paid when ordered would have left and taken a short walk up to Westgate

Avoid There's better close by

Doubt we will be coming back again. Food was luke warm and service not great even though they had shut half the restaurant and classed it as 'reserved'. (It was just set up ready for breakfast!) Turned people away who didn't have enough space to sit in other area and yet no one ever occupied the 'reserved' area. Very disappointing. If they couldn't manage with hardly anyone there god knows how bad it would have been if they'd been busy!!!

The service was so slow that the lady on the next table actually works there but off duty as she was having meal with her family, got up cleared our empty plates as they have been there for quite a while, were that slow that she also had to tell them we're waiting for our desserts. The restaurant was not that busy neither as we booked our table for 17:30 Poor performance all round.

I didn't feel to hungry so I just ordered soup, i was very disappointed it was like water, I know it was only 1.99 but they could make more of an effort I sent it back and the manager apologised my husband's meal was very poor also. Would not recomend it, as I am sure they could do better.

Disappointed -,stayed at the premier inn next door and was looking forward to an ok meal with a few drinks not having to worry about driving. So wish we had gone somewhere else - completely took the enjoyment out of the weekend away from home. Stock was low and so had to change menu choices a couple of times - even ran out of strawberries so my son couldn't share the fondue. Very few staff about and service was slow - waiting up to 40 mins for food. Why do we have to put up with such rubbish this day and age. Hope the breakfast is better in the morning.

Came here saturday 9th June. Have been here many times before but unfortunately this time it let us down, the table was wiped but very very sticky, we waited a long time for our starters to arrive which were nice but the wait let us down. Then waiting for the plates to be cleared just didn't happen untill our main arrived which also took quite a long time , I had cold chips and peas but boiling hot scampie, so clearly the chef didn't get his timings right on this occasion. My partners food was barely warm but we didn't bother to complain as there wasn't many people about serving even though it was pretty quiet .

It's a shame we experienced such bad food and service as plenty of previous occasions have been ok .

Really not impressed!! Brought the kids for tea since to the aldershot branch as my husband is deployed, so I fancied a night off cooking. Ordered our food at 1740 1845 came and still no food. I asked at the bar how long our food would be 20 minutes later food came out, 2 lots of cold and hard portions of cod tastic and a very over cooked chicken tikka and I don't know who got our starters but I hope they enjoyed them

Paid £54 for the worst meal we've ever had. We had to wait 90 minutes for the food to arrive as they were short staffed and when it did it was luke warm, burger was dry, chips under cooked, the whole thing was awful. We were so fed up by this point we left. Never eat there again!!

Only ordered a couple of puddings. Took 45 minutes to arrive which was odd as the place wasn't busy (watched the whole of the 1st half of England vs Malta while waiting...).



When they arrived, the crumble and custard was cold and had to be returned. A bit like England, 2nd try was better but still "average" at best. Will not be returning..

Lots of empty seats and tables , but not laid out ..

Dirty cups , glasses and plates just laying around..

Purchased Coca Cola refill ... had to que to ask where the machine was hidden around a corner.

Starter was Nachos ... very poor £7.99 for a bag of nacho crisps and a few strands of cheese the most expensive crisps I have ever bought..

Had some nice meals here in the past unfortunately last night's experience was far below par

They weren't exactly ran off their feet the effect of The Westgate Complex was clear

The area around table 76 about 8 tables all were in a state of disarray

Not been cleaned or relayed after previous diners had left

Cutlery and napkins left at random

Despite this waited forty minutes for our meals to arrive

Clearly forgotten about as they came 5 minutes later after I complained

My steak asked for medium rare it was still mooing

Sent back to be cooked a tad more

My partners steak surposed to be well done was still bleeding as well

When I complained to the waitress and asked for my comment to be passed to the manage either she didn't relay my discontent

Or he couldn't be bothered

Needless to say

will not be going aging , and had I not paid when ordered would have left and taken a short walk up to Westgate

Doubt we will be coming back again. Food was luke warm and service not great even though they had shut half the restaurant and classed it as 'reserved'. (It was just set up ready for breakfast!) Turned people away who didn't have enough space to sit in other area and yet no one ever occupied the 'reserved' area. Very disappointing. If they couldn't manage with hardly anyone there god knows how bad it would have been if they'd been busy!!!
