What a breath of fresh air this place is. All the staff are really friendly from the owners to the lovely man who carves the meat for you he spoke to us like he has known us for years and you immediately feel welcome and at ease. The food is terrific we had the carvery and although the veg section is smaller than other places the quality was superb. Overall brilliant xxx cannot praise this place enough xxx

We visited here sometime last month, I meant to leave a review then but forgot until now. Service was amazing, we went for breakfast which is always amazing and great value for money anyway, staff are always super friendly and can't do enough for you. Food is always fresh and kept topped up. But one member of staff really stood out with going above and beyond with customers. I can't remember his name but I think he was a manager or supervisor. Quite tall. My nearly 2 year old son was in quite a grumpy mood due to teething and didn't want to eat anything, and was crying. We were taking it in turns comforting him while eating breakfast when the lovely staff member came along with a cuddly superman toy and gave it to my son, such a lovely act of kindness, and not only that, but a while later when my son started crying again, in pain with his teeth, the manager came back with a balloon, and tied it to his highchair which brought a huge smile to his face and a nice distraction for him. It really was going above and beyond, he didn't have to, and most would be annoyed listening to a crying baby after a morning at work but he was genuinely so kind to go out of his way to make our visit calm and enjoyable. Big thank you to him and the other friendly staff ’┐Į

We visit several Brewers Fayre and The Haven is by far the best. Lovely friendly staff and food is always cooked well.

The place is kept clean and tidy unlike others we have visited.

The chef cooks the chips much better than the Doncaster and Goole lol

We had our daughters party with you on Saturday and it was fabulous, may I say a massive thank you to the lady who was working in the play area on 7th July between 12-1.30 she was so helpful. Many thanks xx

She was so Helpful with a fussy child & changed her dessert at no extra cost. Thank you so much Just wish I got her name. Food was lovely and puddings were delicious thanks again.
