It’s ok if you are just out for a quick meal, recommend the fish and chips, not a bad experience at all but not 5 star food if that’s what you want just standard pub food, have had an issue with parking we paid to park but still got a fine as didn’t put full reg in so be aware feel ripped off but was better to pay the £20 A gesture of god will fine than go down the court rigmarole even had my ticket to prove we paid just a money making scam, have been back since but don’t use their car park

We reserved a table for 8. Half of the cutlery was missing. They let us order and then came to tell us that 2 of the starters were unavailable so 4 of us had to re order. After the starters the mains were a long time coming and they forgot about dessert we had to go and enquire. Some of the portions were a bit on the small side. Overall not a good experience

Table dirty, had to wait for it to be cleaned. Food portions too small! Had to ask for salad for the burger as they forgot it. New piece of pie because other piece too small and dried out. Staff very friendly but some one needs to take contol. Toilets also a Desaster both taps broken. First and last time. Shame😠

Been in before and the food was good, been in today, food was cold, rosters was very burnt, hottest part of the meal was the stuffing ball, took photos but can't put them up, very disappointed, wished we had travelled the few extra mile to the Dudley Arms in Himley.

very disappointed we booked a table for a group of us when we arrived they had put some tables together in between the dart board and the snooker table so we would have either had dart throwing over our heads or snookers cues,we asked if they could put us some where else to be told no,so we cancelled our table and went to weatherspoons

family meal for 12 of us, variety of food ordered and it was hit and miss.. chips and peas were very over done, not enough cutlery bought to the table so had to wait for extra to be bought over. ordered puddings and had to wait 40 minutes after we ordered for them to come and had to clear table ourselves so we could have puddings. again they arrived with no spoons so had to wait for them to come back with them before we could start. there was one other table of 4 in the wholr of the pub which speaks volumes. it used to be a very busy restaurant. the upstairs was closed.

The whole experience was appalling! We waited ages to be served, then waited 45 mins for our food (which had been left on the pass for over 5 minutes) The Food was not cooked, hygiene terrible, it was understaffed and staff were clearly unhappy in their job. The ladies toilets were out of order! And I had to go up and downstairs on my bum as I am on crutches!!!! We complained ... we did not eat - we also spoke to the manager!

The last time we came here the food and service was fantastic. We went today and the service was ridiculous forgetting our drinks and not knowing what drinks they actually served. Took ages for food even though there wasn't many people in the restaurant. When food turned up mash was dry and hard, my husband's burger was dry and the bun was rock hard. We will not be going back!!

Thanks for ruining our Christmas meal! Starters not brought out al together, lost our order, main meals sat waiting on hot plate for 30 minutes then arrived cold! Desserts well ordered cheese & biscuits a bit of grated cheese & 3 biscuits! Never got the coffee had enough! Went 2 years ago & had a totally different experience! I think they were think pack em in get the money, well I'm sorry I've not made any money today with all the refunds you had to give!

Probably the worst meal and dining experience I've ever experienced. Shame it happened to be Christmas Day!

As if the 2 hr wait for (pre ordered) starters wasn't bad enough the main meal wasn't fit to serve in a dogs home. I've never seen or tasted such a disgusting excuse for meal. And how can you justify a cheese board that only had cheddar on it. Grated cheddar at that.

I feel sorry for your staff' they were obviously overwhelmed and there weren't enough of them. Unfortunately they bore the brunt of everyone's disappointment. I can only say you must of made a loss by the amount of refunds given. But the damage to your reputation is greater.

We will never visit again and I should imagine that goes for everyone else at the 3pm sitting.

£43 each! Not good enough. Not good enough by any stretch of the imagination. �

No stars at all musty smell as we walked in , dirty table had to ask for it to me cleaned

Food disgusting fish was full of fat , chips hard and greasy peas were ok , presentation ok

The place has so much protention , needs a refurb now

ID’d a member of our party which they are entitled to do. They told her that the id was ok. Then proceeded to ask for the Id again a few minutes later. They took the id out of my friends site. Then asked for their bank card and took the bank card and Id out of the persons sight. Something that is very bad practice. A customer should never have their card taken out of their sight. Would not recommend this place if you would like your bank details to remain private.

I've given it 1 star as there wasn't an option for zero stars. Bar staff were fantastic, sadly the food was an A&E appointment waiting to happen, very easy order of sausage and mash and cottage pie and chips. 1st sausage missing from order, meal brought back to table with raw sausage with blood in the middle. Cottage pie tasted only of pepper probably to disguise the fact that it was off. Chips still frozen in middle and peas boiled within an inch of their life. Meals sent back and refund given.

I had the lasagne and was awful then followed by yum yum pudding which looked like a bowl of slop. A shame as the staff looked like they have been thrown in the deep end but nothing has changed just got worse

Drove into car park and paid to park by phone. Walked in to find pumps covered and workmen inside. The lady behind the bar said closed for refurb. I said why didn't you put up a sign to prevent people thinking you were open. She replied there was and a barrier too. Funny that as I drive straight in. Oh well can I have my parking charge back please? She replied no I don't have any money. Would have given out of my purse she said but haven't got that either. You see when you go into car park cameras record your number plate and charge you £60 fine if u don't pay upon entry or exit.

She told me to come back next week for it.

Summing up: if there had been a notice or barrier saying closed I wouldn't have driven in , paid and had a row with the lady. It's all so unnecessary ! Very poor attitude to potential business.

Christmas meal booked and food ordered nearly 3 months ago, on the night were told some of the main meals were not available. (3 months notice and they couldn't have warned us?). First starters arrived 1hr and 20 mins after the time the table was booked for and some had to be sent back! Some of the deserts were still frozen, served on hot plates with ice cream which had vertually melted by the time it arrived. Overall if I could give a review in the minus figures I would. DO NOT BOOK any special occasion with this pub! Other colleagues who went 2 weeks earlier on their Christmas meal had a very similar experience.

Absolute disgrace,you absolutely spoilt our Christmas Day,something we have all looked forward to spending with family and enjoying .

We booked in at 1.30pm after you told us to be there for 1.45pm for our 2pm sitting.

We were all sat ready at the table for this time,nearly 3pm and we hadn't seen anything come to the table or anyone come to apologise on the wait/delay,we went to ask wot was happening and we're told the menus had all been lost!!!!!!!well y hadn't u told us this wen we booked in at 1.30 pm or came down and told us the situation instead of waiting nearly 2hrs for us to come to you.

We then had to sort our self out and get all the orders together our selves. the starters came out the soup had just been sat and warmed up and you plonked the bread rolls in the middle of the soup bowl!!!!(nearly 3hrs late)

Mains came out and had to be sent bk to be warmed bk up in the microwave absouloute disgrace,the potoes had been deep fried everything was just herendouse and not fit to give dog...steak came out bleeding asked for well done,we never got desserts as u didn't even come for our order and to be honest none of us could be bothered with your pathetic excuses we had 5 children with us,and a diabetic,a very long,disappointing day.

And as for the manager wit can I say u stayed upstairs pushing all your staff forward to take all the flake as we heard and saw another 4 family's in the same situation you must of lost out on so much money from your total greed of more wanting more and spoiling how many family's Christmas days.

9 of us went there to have a family meal and when we ordered our food then they came back 10 minutes later to say the didn't have wot 6 of us ordered so we changed our food and when it finally came 1 hour and 10 minutes later then had forgot 2 of the meals we ordered so by the time we had eaten our there was just coming out and the chips had been cooked a few times and was only warm the scampi was likes bricks we had to pick them up as we couldn't get to fork in them the burgers was just warm and the stake was well over done it was like rubber and they hadn't got any lager its the worst experience ive ever had and wont be going again.
