Breydon Water Holiday Park

I want to say its horrible so I can keep this little gem to myself, wonderful stay great entertainment, the pool is lovely, you will go back time and again

Lovely quiet site twinned with another site down the road. Close to Gt Yarmouth which you can get to by bus. Indoor swimming pool and entertainment. Good restaurant and prices are very reasonable. The caravan we stayed in was gorgeous.

You have to travel between to sites if you want to do things, swimming pool was closed. When setting up your tent you have to set it up on mud patches because they are not allowing the grass to grow Back if it rains like it did when we was there it ends up like a mud bath where you put your tent. We won't be going back until They sort out there pitches.

Lovely camp site only downside is the club room for entertainment is on the small side and even when just two of us we struggled to get a table after 8.30pm.
Caravan was beautiful and had everything we needed.
Used the site as a base as have relatives in Yarmouth so was out with them most of the time so can't comment on the facilities much. Indoor pool was small but warm and adequate.
Camp site very clean.

The camp site is a bit cramped, with very small pitches. Your guy ropes will often cross your neighbours. We were given a pitch right outside the toilet block where there was an outside light that shone into the tent keeping us all awake.

The toilet block itself was disgusting. The showers where in a row opposite the toilets. Because it is such a busy park, I would often shower to the sound of five men crapping in unison, literally meters away from me. The showers have a push button with no temperature control. One of the showers gave you 3 whole seconds of luke warm water per press - I joke you not, I timed it. That means you would have to press the button 100 times for a 5 minute shower! Not that you would want to spend 5 minutes in that stench! Other showers dribbled the water down the wall, so you would have to lean up against the tiles to get in on the action!

It wasn't all bad though. The staff couldn't do enough to help you and the food and drink were really good at the club house. The out door pool was nice too.

All in all we made the most of it. It is a lovely area, but we would find somewhere different to camp if we came back.

We returned for a second visit after my Mother in law suffered a heart attack there last year Manager Vicki Marie and all her staff did everything possible for us last year and this year was no exception.We booked with Sun Holidays again this year and paid to upgrade to a lodge and we were not disappointed the lodge was spacious with d/washer and American style fridge with ice dispenser and once again Vicki Marie and all her staff were amazing and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, there was a few minor problems when we got there but these were soon rectified by excellent and friendly maintenance staff. I would recommend this site to any one it is quiet and relaxing.

Nice place and the entertainment guy are super cool the caravan was clean but not easy to live in if your 6ft or over

Lovely family getaway with the kids. Good location and activities for them to keep the busy. Loved the indoor swimming pool and activities they had to offer. Nice clean accommodation and staff were very friendly.
The only one downside else it would have got 4 out of 5 is the restaurant. It is overpriced and not good value for money. The portions were small and doesn't taste great either. Waste of money.

Good entertainment if you can get in to see it as the club room is very small and could not accommodate the park we had to miss out on the nightly entertainment twice as to busy , very clean park, swimming pool, gym, restaurant but depending on what you order is not always value for money, friendly staff
