Brian qualified as a solicitor after graduating from Cambridge University and was a partner in a specialist London media law firm and in-house IT Counsel for both NSPCC and Portsmouth City Council before joining Stone King. He was formerly Head of Legal & HR at Virgin Interactive and Acting Head of Legal Affairs at Phonographic Performance Limited.

Brian is the author of numerous articles in the fields of IT, e-commerce and computer games and regularly contributes to his four blogs.

Brian has been listed in the Legal Experts Guide, the computer games section of the Legal 500 and cited as a ‘Best of the UK’ lawyer (Computer Games) in Chambers' UK Guide to Solicitors.
