Went here a couple of years back for some new parts and a service on my bike, Was not impressed , On the first ride my gears were slipping So I've never been back, Well until a few weeks back, I did a local reliability ride on the Sunday and my front chainset lost some nuts and half came apart then twisted and so on, So i limped home, on the Tuesday i was racing so i needed new parts quickly and did not have time to fit them and i wanted the Di2 checking So i called rourke's as a last measure and they got me in straight away, I dropped the bike in and was told i just needed some new front rings thats all, But that i would have to have a standard service ? strange but i went ahead as i needed it so i also said to replace the chain as that must of twisted on my limp home, They said it was ok ? i questioned it so they checked, Yes it was completely goofed, I collected the bike a few hours later £150 lighter after it having, new front rings, rear cassette, chain & a service, So i went home thinking i had been charged quite a lot considering but you get what you pay for, So on the Tuesday i was getting ready to go racing and i thought well i know the bike has just been serviced but with it still having the winter mudguards on i will double check my tyres to see if there were any small stones lodged that may of given me a puncture, So i turned the bike over and my rear tyre had 2 spots that were down too the string, I couldn't believe it as this was not mentioned to me, So i changed the tyres fitted new brake blocks and went racing, When racing i was struggling to get my gears, it was jumping and slipping (Di2 ?) So when i got i checked the chain and rear cassette, Both were 105's when i am running full ultegra, Now £150 and only 105's sorry but i had assumed they would fit like for like, It never entered my head they would fit cheaper parts. So I've bought some ultegra fitted them and adjusted the front derailleur a little and its perfect, only cost me £55 and took 20 minutes. Anyway a lesson learned but never again.

After being let down by Halfords I went to Rourke's. As soon as I took my bike in for repairs they dropped everything to help. Despite the complexity of the bike problem they had it up and running in no time. Their customer service is exceptional and I would advise any cyclist with bike issues to forget everywhere else and go to Rourke's. Very reasonably priced too.
