We are seeking a Dental Nurse to join our fantastic team at Bridge Dental Surgeries.
Full-time Dental Nurse required for our modern & high-tech dental practice. Trainees welcome. Fully computerised. In house Continuing Professional Development provided.... 35-38hrs per week Fully Private practice with the opportunity to work with many dental Specialist Surgeons. GDC registration paid in Year 1.
The ideal candidate must: 1. Be punctual & well presented 2. Be hard-working 3. Work well in a team 4. Have good communication skills
Salary
Up to £11 per hour dependant on experience and qualifications.
We will provide funding for training for successful applicants who are unqualified or have limited experience with Dental Nursing.
Hours Monday 8.30-5.30pm Tuesday 8.30-5.30pm Wednesday 8.30-5.30pm Thursday 1-7.30pm Friday 8.30-2.30pm
Start date - end of June/ early July 2019

Kezia Harris.
Kezia Has now been at our practice for some months now. Kezia started her career in dentistry in 2010 by originally training as a dental nurse at Bridge Dental Surgeries. During this time Kezia gained further qualifications in Radiography and Oral Health Education. After many years of experience, Kezia decided to extend her knowledge in the dental field. As a consequence, she studied and qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist at the Charles Clifford D...ental Hospital, The University of Sheffield in 2018.
As a Dental Hygienist, Kezia aims to promote good oral hygiene practices, manage and improve the health of gums to maintain a healthy mouth. Kezia manages and suggests treatment options on an individual basis. As well as keeping teeth clean, Kezia can also supply air polishing and tooth whitening to brighten your smile and undertakes tooth whitening treatments and some facial aesthetic treatments.
As well as a Dental Hygienist, Kezia is a Dental Therapist which enables her to carry out various paediatric dental procedures and provide fillings for adults and children.
Kezia’s treatment style encompasses care and consideration of individual needs, and applies a holistic approach to all patients. She enjoys treating children and acclimatising patients of all ages to the dental environment, to ensure that all oral health requirements are fulfilled.

Introducing Dr Zahra Sheriteh BDS MFDS MSc MOrth FDS(Orth), our consultant orthodontist.
Bridge Dental Surgeries are now able to offer orthodontic care at our practice.
Zahra Sheriteh graduated at the University of Bristol with the dental gold medal in dentistry in 2001. Having worked as a Senior House Officer in oral maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry at various posts including Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Eastman Dental Hospital, Zahra pursued postgradua...te training in orthodontics at Kings College London in 2005. There, she was presented with a merit for the MSc in Orthodontics. Zahra was subsequently awarded the membership in orthodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2008. Following this, she undertook further training at the Royal London and Whipps Cross Hospitals and qualified with Fellowship in Orthodontics. Zahra is a Consultant Orthodontist and Postgraduate Trainer at the Eastman Dental Hospital. Zahra is widely published with a keen interest in research and teaching. She is highly experienced in all aspects of orthodontics, using a wide range of braces to transform the smiles of numerous patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include orthognathic management, treatment of impacted teeth and missing teeth. Zahra provides a wide range of braces including tooth coloured and invisible braces.

Introducing Dr Atrina Ghezel BDS MSc (Endodontics) MJDF MFDS
Atrina joined Bridge Dental Surgeries in October 2018 after attaining her Masters with distinction in Endodontics (root canal fillings) from the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital and School in London. Her practice is limited to the field of root canal fillings. In addition to working here she also is a Speciality Doctor and Clinical Teaching Fellow at the Eastman Dental Hospital and School. Atrina graduated fr...om Barts and London School of Medicine and Dentistry after which she completed her foundation training both in general dental practice and oral surgery. Atrina places her continuing professional development high in her career priorities and has been on a number of courses and also published various professional articles in professional magazines. She is committed to continually improving her skills, knowledge and patient care.

Introducing Dr Nicola Tan BDS (Wales) FDSRCS (Eng)
Nicola Qualified from the University of Wales (Cardiff) in 1992 and has over 26 years of broad clinical experience, including speciality training in oral and maxillofacial surgery to FDS RCS level. With 4 years of special needs and paediatric dentistry and 15 years of NHS and private general dental practice, her diverse training and experience enables her to undertake all aspects of family and cosmetic dentistry. She has also... developed a special interest in facial aesthetics injectables and has undergone extensive training in minimally invasive dentistry which she practices daily and also can provide facial aesthetic treatment using the various treatments available. In the new year Nicola will undertake training with Cerec and be able to provide crowns in one visit. Nicola is also training to provide Invisalign orthodontic care. Nicola, after being recommended by a specialist colleague, joined the practice in September 2018 and is available to be seen on Mondays and Wednesdays and provides an evening clinic on Wednesdays. She will also be available on regular Saturdays for those patients who find it difficult to come during the week.

Introducing Dr Nicholas Leakey BDS, MSc, MFDS RCS(Glas)
On recommendation by a colleague, Nick is starting at Bridge Dental Surgeries on 14 January 2019 initially for 2 days per week and increasing to 4 days including one late evening and regular Saturdays once David retires completely. Nick is an experienced and highly qualified dental surgeon with many years of experience. Nick initially graduated as a molecular biologist attaining a Masters from the University of London... in 2004. He then trained as a dentist from the Peninsular College of Medicine and Dentistry where in his final year he won the progress test prize. He completed his foundation training at the University Dental Hospital in Cardiff. Nick is experienced in Oral surgery working at both the Queen Victoria Hospital and Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts and attained the post of clinical fellow attaining the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons in Glasgow. Since then he has worked in a dentist in practice in London. Nick has not rested on his laurels and has continued his professional training working towards the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Nick is training to place his own dental implants and restore them. Shortly after Nick joins the practice he will undertake training to provide single visit cerec restorations. Nick will continue to provide the highest quality dental care that patients at Bridge Dental Surgeries are accustomed to.
