Quite nice, though the boiler was broken so there was no hot water available for bathing. Also the only place I've stayed at in the UK that didn't offer free hot chocolate in the rooms.
Lovely quiet part of Grasmere, great breakfast, rooms cleaned daily. Would return and recommend.

In urgent need of renovation - will be excellent when done but until then, Bridge House are charging the prices of those hotels in the village which are already modernised. Excellent staff, good parking and location. Breakfast tasty and good quality, standard rooms extremely dated.
I went to the bridge house to meet up with a few friends and family and to have a coffee. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the coffee is good quality. Over all a pleasant visit.

Stayed here as a group now for the fourth consecutive year, welcome very warm, accommodation always comfortable, would highly recommend it to anyone that isn't looking for frills and fancy just good clean home comforts, Jane and her girls do an amazing job.
Great place to stay, staff amazingly helpful in every way
I have been coming to this lovely hotel for a few years. I can see another visit very soon.
