An attractive traditional grade II* listed railway station with a lovely historic footbridge. HSTs pass through daily and steam trains pass through weekly in the Summer.

That bridge is almost 200 years old, somebody replace that damn thing. Every time i walk over it i see my life flash before my eyes.

Like seriously it opened in 1841, am pretty sure that bridge has been there since the start.

Tickets office staff are nice but the atmosphere of the station isn't that nice, feels more like it'll collapse in a big storm and near enough every door is closed apart from ticket office usually would like to have a little leaflet you could take to learn about the station.
In all i personally only go there a couple-few times a year but every time it feels more and more like they need a full renovation instead of trying to mask over it but nice staff.

It's a train station, helpful guy in the ticket office. Toilets. Nice cup of tea from the man in the van outside the station.
