first time visit on wednesday 9th may. What a fantastic place ! got to hand feed, ostriches, goats ,llamas, donkeys, sheep, pigs and more. Got up close with two adorable baby owls and a lovely hand raised lamb. The staff are so passionate about their work and knowlegeable about the animals and very happy to answer your questions and spend time with you.,a very hands on place. The highlight of the visit was the bird/owl display, best I have ever seen, none of the birds are tethered and fly free which is great to see. The owner clearly loves all his animals. can't wait to go back.

User

What can I say totally love this place the birds and staff are amazing and so obvious that the staff love there animals .the owls are amazing and I especially had a soft spot for Errol the great grey owl which decided to set up perch on my son Jakes head hahaha thankyou once again

Went for a photography workshop yesterday. I struggle to express how amazing it was from start to finish. Every member of the staff team I saw or spoke to, oused knowledge and passion for the animals.

The birds of prey are truly fabulous. They are in excellent condition and clearly enjoy the interaction with people. Paul and Michelle were fantastic yesterday, nothing was too much trouble, but it was refreshing to observe that as soon as a bird began to get bored, they were replaced with another one. This was refreshing for two reasons, the first was that it ensured, we as paying customers had something to photograph at all times. The second and most important reason, was that no bird was ever forced to do something it didn't want to do. We were also lucky with the weather, as any rain would have meant no owls would be brought out. I learned that rain is the biggest killer of many owl species because their wings are not waterproof meaning they can't hunt when it rains, resulting in them starving during prolonged periods of rainfall (hope I got that right Paul).

Was a great group on the workshop yesterday, during which I got lots of hints and tips from Lee Myers our photography guru, in a very relaxed environment and I was also amazed by the photographic talent of his son Josh.

I have been to lots of Bird of Prey centres, wildlife parks and zoos, but this was by far the most informative and best flying displays I have seen.

Brilliant place, brilliant staff, brilliant day, make sure you visit next time you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.

User

Went for a owl handling experience as i love owls and it didn’t disappoint even got to hold a european eagle owl my favourite owls and the laughing kookaburra is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen, not a big fan snakes but held one also loved the raccoons definitely hope to go back one day.

User

Went for 1st time was exellent enjoyed it so much will be back again soon Caring friendly and helpfull people Been to a few places like this but this was far the best one yet Even offered to help my hubby who has a phobia of Birds But he declined Maybe next time Guys would recommend to all Xx

User

We went today it was an amazing place the staff were informative and funny but also you could see how much they care for their animals. It was amazing seeing the animal close up and being able to interact with them. Due to various things happening with the animals and birds you are never bored even though it's not a big place, there is a lovely cafe outside but they are happy you go out and come back in. We spent most of the day there. We would definitely recommend and we will certainly be coming back. Thank you for a fab day.

User

We visited today on our way back to Manchester after calling in on Saturday to see we had missed the flying display. I have visited a center on this site a number of years ago, which I assume was different ownership. The center is run by passionate and helpful staff and is a nice walk through the woodlands and fields behind. To make the most of your day you need to stay all day to take in the handling time, reptiles and flying display. The birds are very well looked after and free-flying which is great to see, the talk while the display is ongoing teaches the kids so much and keeps there attention throughout.

I have visited many tourist attractions through out my career (photographer) and have worked with many including some of the big zoos and I must say the staff here were absolutely brilliant, we will definitely be back.

User

We very much enjoyed our visit the other day. We were greeted by a friendly staff and a screaming ball of fluffy feathers of a baby owl. The animals are used to people - donkeys, ponies, sheep and other animal will walk to the fence to greet you and you can pet them. We saw one of the many displays which are offered and it was an amazing experience. The birds of prey are so loved and they know it And trust their handler. Our 20 month old daughter enjoyed it as much as we did. Thank you for memorable day.

User

Visited this morning to redeem an owl experience voucher and we had a fantastic time. We handled more birds than I expected, the staff very knowledgeable and friendly.

Gift shop was reasonably priced too.

Absolutely loved it and will definitely visit again I may even add to my Christmas list again

User

Visited on bank holiday Monday it's a lot smaller than anticipated but definatly worth the visit. The kids learnt so much about the animals from the keeper talks and being able to handle the animals was great. The kids thought the pigs at feeding time were hilarious opening there mouths for food. The birds were beautiful and loved that they flew around the audience during the display. Great that they are actually free flying when out and not tethered, pleased Rio returned safe and sound.x

Took my 12 year old daughter and my dad yesterday for the Meerkat experience, first time I have been to the park. The place may not be very big but the experience and friendliness of the staff are amazing, they really have a passion and love for all the animals. The meerkat experience was amazing very informal and relaxed would definitely recommend.

Thank you for a lovely day.

User

This place was an absolute treasure to find. We loved it from the minute we set foot inside, being greeted by baby owls on the countertop, a massive tortoise casually basking and a newborn lamb being cuddled by the owner! The whole place has so much potential, theres been lots of alterations done already and big plans for more to happen soon, we cant wait until we are next visiting Yorkshire to see how it has altered! The animals are given so much love and attention, its great to see the place being run as a passion and not a money maker like many other parks. Unfortunately when we visited we were warned that the paths and access was going to be very muddy due to the weather, my 3yo was thrilled to walk around in wellies whilst we pushed her baby sister in her pram. It was muddy, but it didn’t spoil our fun. There was a variety of animals to see (and feed) and the birds of prey demonstration was very informative, my daughter loved getting up close to the owls. Getting to hold the birds later on was fantastic, my 3yo loved being able to take part alongside the adults/older children. I would recommend to families of all ages to visit

User

So me and the family made the trek across from Brough today to the see the birds of prey. £16... what a BARGAIN! We spent 6 hours there today and loved every second. The bird show was fantastic, the staff friendly and professional. My advice is..keep doing what your doing! You guys are so passionate about what you do and it rubs off on the customer. My 5 year old came away obsessed with animals and has now gone to sleep with his own little eagle owl teddy. Yes it was muddy.....just take a pair of bloody wellys with you and suck it up.

I've been to most of the petting zoo's and Yorkshire wildlife parks but non are as accessible to animals as this place with you being actively encouraged to touch / feel the animals and the guys eat / sleep / breathe what the animals are about. There not just doing it as a job. Also credit to the young lad who was volunteering, he is a great ambassador for your business. As are Rochelle, the Wallaby lady and the gent who runs the show.

Will 100% be back in Summer!

User

I’m not one to write reviews but thought after today I would. To be fair when you first walk in and around your think it’s rubbish for the money, but how wrong was I.

Make sure you get to all the displays/feeding times.

Really good getting up close and personal feeding wallabys and Emus.

Then feeding the pigs.

Holding reptiles and finally the bird show

What an amazing bird show. Some lovely owls on display and some amazing pictures taken!

Make sure you go to the talks

You won’t be disappointed

User

Had an absolute ball today at Bridlington birds of prey and animal park! Got up close with all the animals, greeted by a parrot shouting ‘hello’ as we walked in, feeding the wallabys by hand, feeding the pigs, holding snakes, lizards, owls and kookaburras. Loved meeting little Wurly the lamb too so cute. My children were delighted the park was still muddy and waterlogged in places, we all wore wellies and had a good splash about! Would definitely recommend!

User

Great start to the morning here in Bridlington, had a owl experience at the start for my husband who loves owls and my nephew, woman who bought the owls out (rochelle), I think her name was, she was very friendly, polite and very knowledgeable, no questions was too much for her, even bought an extra owl out for the boys to hold, then going round the animal park was amazing, u always saw staff walking round checking in on animals, even if u stopped them and asked any of them a question they never moaned or told u to hang on, they was straight listening and taking to you, reptile handling isn't my cup of tea but very happy how they walked round each and everyone asking if they wanted to hold one of the reptiles, amazing day out, highly recommended, well done

User

Brilliant way to spend a few hours. The owl display was absolutely stunning, 45 minutes of beautiful birds swooping so low over our heads I could feel their wings! Got to hold two owls during the handling experience which I loved and I got some great photos of the very beautiful Errol. Staff are lovely and so welcoming. The baby eagle owl toddling around reception just made my day. I wish I could give more than 5 stars

User

Brilliant little place, when your greated by a baby goat and baby owls in reception what's not to love!! Time it so u are here for the activities (so by 11am) and it will fill a few hours, bring a pack up as there is a lovely picnic area and it's a lovely reasonably cheap day out. The birds of pray flying show is brilliant and my little boy loved getting up close with the birds and reptiles. This is a brilliant place we will defiantly be coming again.

User

Absolutely fantastic day out again! The guy that runs the park (Paul) truly loves and cares for his animals with every fibre of his being and this is obvious in the way he presents his animals, especially his birds. Anyone who's left negative comments due to the recent weather : are they actually holding the park responsible for the weather? Paul gave us fair warning that it was very, very muddy, in spite of pumps running continuously. The surrounding countryside is still under water, 5 days later! A true hidden gem and absolute value for money.
