Located on the beautiful Jurassic coastline with views stretching across Lyme Bay and along the Chesil Beach to Portland. Renowned for its friendliness, the Club offers an excellent restaurant, a lounge and spikes bar.
Bridport & West Dorset Golf Club Description
The golf club features in a number of locational shots for the ITV drama BROADCHURCH. We are right there, at the top of East Cliff! There have been sweeping aerial shots over the fairways, as well as several dramatic scenes on top of the cliffs. Our course offers tremendous views across the world heritage Jurassic coastline of #Dorset and West Bay, home to the fictional Broadchurch series.

Great Way to try Get Into Golf.

The course is fully open on 18 main Greens. All trolleys and Buggies are allowed.
The course is open on 16 Temp greens. Holes 6 & 7 are closed.
There will be NO TROLLEYS or BUGGIES due to the heavy overnight frost.
Saturday 2nd February 2019. We are fully Open on 18 Main Greens. Come and enjoy this wonderful morning.

We have just had one of Linda's Super Sunday Lunches. Completely delicious
Visited for the first time,Such a lovely course, well laid out and loved the experience of seeing and hearing the sea while playing in the sun.
The Staff and Course Members were so helpful. .would willing play here again anytime.
Very friendly welcome from pro shop staff. Was given a course planner for nothing as 1st visit to course. The course was in good condition very dry fairways and true running greens. I live not to far away and will be definitely going back in summer for another round.🖒🖒🖒

Played today in tough conditions 38 points took the money by a mile
My partner and I had our wedding reception at the Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club on the 15 of October. Despite the weather we had a perfect day, everything went to plan. Nothing was too much for Linda and her team, they helped set up the day before and were brilliant on the day! Can't praise Linda enough, she made us feel so relaxed and made the day run smoothly. Food was fantastic, had loads of comments from the guests. It was also excellent to have the opportunity to go to the sixth tee and have some private photos overlooking the beach/sea. All in all 10/10!!! Would highly recommend!!!
Just had two days golf here and really enjoyed the course. The whole course was very well looked after and played well. The greens were especially good. We were given a very warm welcome by many of the members and staff and definitely return in the future.
Great feel to this club, very friendly staff. Holiday cottage is near to the course and usually use the range. However this year I played the course, what a gem. Greens role true, the rough looks like it's been looked after and some absolutely stunning views. Will definitely come back.

A lovely golf course, worth playing just to play THAT par 3! A great challenge and very reasonable rates. Very welcoming club and would make a great venue for a visiting society.
Nice course with spectacular views , think the low handicappers would make short work of it although it was still yesterday afternoon , different prospect if the wind blows.
Good Sunday Lunch Roast beef lots of veggies, roasties and Yorkshire pud. Really didn't need a pudding but golly the chocolate pot went down a treat!
Always had a good meal
Played here for the first time on Thursday and enjoyed the course, although the state of the greens was dreadful. It's quite a spectacular location, with the sea crashing onto the shore below the cliffs, but we did find it quite confusing on some of the fairways, which appeared to converge. I would suggest playing for the first time with someone who knows the course to avoid our confusion!
