Bright Bluebells Childminding Service Description
My name is Afrodite, an Ofsted registered childminder and I run Bright Bluebells Childminding Service.
I have spent many years in a variety of jobs, including tour guiding in Sri Lanka and Maldives for 5 years but the most rewarding part of my life started when my two boys were born.
I have a passion for children and my intention with childminding service is to provide a happy and stimulating environment for the children.
Having been a working mother myself, I know that it isn't always easy to make the choice, and I understand how important it is to feel that you are leaving your child with someone who will care for them and provide them fun activities.
I live with my two boys (4 and 7 years of age) in a detached house in Havant. Our home has a large secure garden with play equipment and a trampoline. There are also playgrounds and parks close by which we will visit regularly.
We love to have fun and take part of lots of activities outside which will include:
Staunton Country Park, Horizon Leisure Centre, Havant Wyevale Garden Centre /Soft Play, Havant Library and local playgroups.
Our house in completely non-smoking. Inside our home there is a playroom with plenty of toys for children of all ages. I also have many resources for the children including arts and crafts, reading and many board games. We will have themes and activities throughout the year and we will aim to get out and about daily and in all weathers.
I believe that every child is unique and they are powerful learners. Their own rate of development will be always respected, so that children will be not rushed but are supported in ways that are right for them.
I am enthusiastic towards my work, providing a home away from home for every child and aiming to offer the best care and facilities for their happiness, needs and development.
I can provide your child with healthy and nutritious meals and snacks. The majority of meals are home-made and cooked using fresh ingredients. We will have weekly menus to assist parents and catering will be according to the children's needs.
I CAN OFFER SCHOOL PICK UP FROM ST. ALBANS PRIMARY.

Hi Lovelies, our 3rd Halloween Trick or Treat Family Event is coming on the 31st and we would like to invite all "old and new" children to come and join us for an hour trick or treat. I need to let you know that from the 1st of February the following changes we make: OPENING HOURS: Monday: NEW HOURS! 07.00am-16.00pm (instead of 07.00am-15.00pm) Tuesday: NEW HOURS! 06.30am-16.30pm (instead of 07.00am-15.00pm) the other days will stay the same:... Wednesday: 06.30am-18.00pm Thursday: 06.30am-18.00pm Friday: 07.00am-18.00pm Saturday: CLOSED Sunday: 08.00am-17.00pm. We are as always happy to help you out outside of opening hours if we can but please note that from the 1st of February we will charge £4.50/hour outside of opening hours and childcare after 8pm will be £5.00/hour. My sons have been going here since September and they absolutely love it. They are always doing fun activities in the local area and Afrodite is very flexible with hours when my working patterns change. Highly recommended.
