Bright Bunnies Day Care

We've had an exciting day today, absolutely loving the sand even if it's miserable weather outside! Our little bunnies are a bit tired now...ready to recharge for Friday fun tomorrow!

We took advantage of the mild weather yesterday afternoon and spent some lovely time outside in the garden. The children made 'soup' in the mud kitchen. Adding 'ingredients' and mixing with a big 'spoon'. :-) It was yummy

Our manipulation skills came into practice today as we kneaded our play dough, using the cutters to create some great moulds. 😃

Today we built a dragon using the junk model method we then painted it red, yellow and orange and spoke about how dragons breath fire but ours was going to be a dancing dragon.

This morning we made lovely castles using flour!

Today we made some gorgeous food during pretend play in our lovely wooden kitchen.

This afternoon we got crazy messy with shaving foam! 😜 Then one of our lovely little bunnies helped tidy the mess!

This morning we played some silly games like Simon Says to test our understand and had lots of races to explore the ways we can move!

Today we have been working on coordination! We did this by building towers and playing skittles.

This afternoon we explored the texture of our salt play dough and practised using one handed tools to cut and roll our play dough!
Lots of children also got to meet our new staff member Maddie!

Our very first Christmas Party was a huge success. The kids loved it. Games were played and prizes won. They enjoyed their 'choose your own' buffet for tea. Helping themselves to whatever they wanted to eat. :-) Everyone went home exhausted but very happy.

What a busy afternoon making the most of that lovely winter sun!

What a busy few days we have had! Working on our writing skills and practising drinking from cups and beakers. I think we are doing great!
