A beautiful day ahead. We're open from 11 am to 7pm today so come and bask poolside.

Our season ends on 16 September. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported us this year- it’s been amazing.
We will be move back to the Term Time timetable from Tuesday 4 September. No changes on Sat/Sun/Mon but later starts on other days and fewer adult evening sessions.
Splashacise will now be 6.30pm Weds- £6.

It’s still the summer holidays (just) and we love it when people make the most of our lovely, sparkly lido.

The Lido is open until 7pm tonight. Saturday 11am-7pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.

What a fantastic day. Staff have really pulled it out the bag for the town amazing. Que is long for a reason it’s a great place to go. Get there early to get in but if you have to wait pop to the beach and come back later. Can’t wait to come back and share more of my childhood with my little girl xxxx

Well what can I say! Wow wow wow! My children had great fun today! Such a lovely pools to have! We came across on the foot ferry from mersea and was great! Had to queue to get on but wasn’t waiting for too long! But even at full capacity it wasn’t busy at all really, still lots of room to swim about! Great work team!

This is a great pool, my children love it and I love that you must be the only place in Colchester that I can take my whole family (4 children) out for a lovely time for under £20. This has meant we have visited you 3 times in this month alone as you make that possible.

Staff always friendly and facilities well looked after.

We will be visiting again throughout the summer, thank you!

The pool has never looked so good. Well done to us all for the hard work and dedication to bring our old Lido back to life. See you 10 am Monday 28th May 2018 for the Grand Opening :-)

Spent most of the day here today with our 3 and 5 year old. They loved it as ever this year and the facilities have definitely improved. We'll be back a few times over the coming months I'm sure. Hopefully for the adult swims one eve too

Just spent a wonderful afternoon at the lido. The pool area was very clean and tidy and the new toilet facilities are a great improvement. Prices are very reasonable, even more so if you get a season or block of tickets.

The lifeguards did their jobs very well and I felt safe letting my children in the pool without me. All in all a great place for a day out and an asset to Brightlingsea.

I’m so impressed with how much the refreshed lido has improved. It’s so much cleaner and well loved than when it was Council owned. The pool is a comfortable temperature if your moving. The food and drink costs are incredibly reasonable. The splash pool is an amazing asset. Well done to all involved.

I swam at the lido for the first time yesterday morning during the early morning session. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The water quality was

Lovely to swim in and others swimmers and a guest duck � were all great to share the space with. I cannot wait to come back. I was also pleased as this was the first time I wore my memade swimming costume which worked very well!

I spent my youth in this pool and was saddened to hear that it could close forever � but look what you have achieved turning things around and I for one am so grateful. A beautiful, clean pool and surroundings plus excellent value for money!! My sons and I loved today (10.30 to 6) and have come home (Colchester) gagging to get back there again. Wonderful place, people and community ��

Had a lovely day down at the lido .....so lovely and fresh and clean and extremely well organised ...well done everyone and a huge massive thanku to all those involved who made this all happen cannot thanku enough ....and what a perfect day to open ...place was buzzing ....great value for money and spot on with the date it opened all in all couldn't ask for anything better thank u xx

Had a great day. Yes we had to queue but everyone in the queue is doing the same and friendly. Very reasonably priced and clean. Children weren’t bothered by the cold water and was nice knowing they were safe and having fun. Staff are helpful and friendly plus lots more to do around the area. We are a large family of varying ages and it suited everyone.

Had a great day here yesterday, my children really had great fun, all the staff were helpful. Only things worth pointing out are you can't pay by card and the nearest cash point is a drive away, and there's not many sun beds so probably worth taking your own. would definately be coming back. �

Excellent place my sons love being down there we have bought him a season pass for the summer holidays (don’t think I will see him much) the staff are friendly, helpful and answer all questions openly and honestly we are so lucky to have so many amazing volunteers that offer up there time to keep the lido open and working for everyone to enjoy thank you for all your hard work �

Came here for the first time the weekend with my family, we had to queue a little to get in - which I guess is to be expected In the summer, BUT it’s definitely worth it! The staff came down the queue to keep people updated on timings and were very apologetic which was lovely, get yourself an ice cream for the queue and your sorted. Really reasonably priced and for the time we were there we almost felt like we were on holiday �� will definitely be back �

After volunteers worked so hard to keep this beautiful Lido open, the weather blessed them today with fantastic sunshine and incredible heat.

I went this evening to the adult swim and it was amazing!

I will definitely be making it a regular thing - thank you all so much.

Arrived yesterday disappointed to find you can not use the lockers as they cannot afford new ones. Showers also are communial but they do have separate changing rooms. Pool is so cold can not stay in it for more than 10 mins at a time but if you like a cold plunge � ok on a really hot day.
