⭐️ Coat condition⭐️
It’s that time of year again where we see more cases of coat matting on the dogs coming into us
Matting is the tangling of hair and can be very painful for dogs when it rubs or pulls against the skin. In cases of matting we often see very red skin, sometimes with small rubs and cuts underneath. Matts that become wet will tighten and stay damp a lot longer which can lead to many painful skin irritations.
... This time of year it is always a difficult choice between keeping longer hair so the dog is not cold, or clipping short for easy maintenance and to avoid matting. As a rule, shorter coats take less time to brush out, are less likely to tangle, dry a lot quicker and stay much cleaner on muddy walks. Plus we are able to purchase coats for chilly evening walks if necessary.
Where matting has occurred, the best, safest and kindest way to remove them is to clip the coat short and start again, nice clean and fresh.

Here we have our prices guide for services here at Brightmoor Luxury Dog Groomers!
As dogs come in so many different shapes and sizes with different requirements, temperaments and coat types please note that all of our prices are estimates and prices upon grooming can alter slightly and will be discussed prior to grooming (current customers have no effect on their usual prices).
Due to us getting very busy recently we are now taking £15 deposits for any appointments that are ...deemed "out of hours" (Evening and Weekends). These appointments are in high demand and often have a waiting list and we just hate disappointing customers when spaces become available too last minute for them to attend.

What a loverly clean fresh environment, fantasic location & safe parking , my nine month old Eddie had his first proper grown up Valentine's pamper today with all the extras , he looked absolutely addorable gorgeous & extremely handsom with the extra special touch ov his bandana, smelling devine � i will be highly recommending to family & frends .

Took my very nervey pooch for a groom today. He can be quite snappy when he is nervous so took him with a muzzle on. When I went to collect him he had no muzzle on and was as happy as Larry. Becky did a really fab job and welcomed Gizmo knowing his temperament. Would definitely recommend and me and Gizmo will be returning! ��

Took my puppy Enzo for a full groom today. When I picked him up he looked extremely happy, well groomed and smelt beautiful! Lovely clean salon with bright and happy staff. Would definitely recommend! X

Took my dog duke for a full groom on Saturday, he came out looking amazing, they did a brilliant job and most of all he loved it, they took great care of him. I would highly recommend as the staff were all friendly and I will definitely be booking in again soon

Our pooch loved his trip to Brightmoor - he's never been to the groomers before but that wasn't a problem at all here, he was brilliantly looked after and looks great!

My girl peanut was nervous at first but because it's one to one, no rushing her, beccy talks to her and encourages her to be calm, beccy does a fantastic job, and peanut looks gorgeous, I will never go anywhere else now, I know she is treated well.

I took my little kc for a full groom today and she was so relaxed when I picked her up thank you so much definitely recommend everyone to visit this groomers

Busby (my border collie) has always been terrified of hairbrushes and hated being brushed. After a few visits to Brightmoor he is a changed dog. Rebecca is so patient and it has paid off. Busby now goes for a bath and brush, he stands on the table being blown dry. Best of all I can brush him at home. Can't recommend her enough �
