About Brighton Cougars
Cougars is a community basketball club: junior squads at U10, U11, U12, U13, U14 & U16 plus Women’s Div 2 National League and Sussex local teams for both Women and Men.
Brighton Cougars Description
We have a broad-based membership of boys and girls from 5 years old through to adult Men and Women. We are currently CLUBMARK accredited by Sport England /England Basketball.
Cougars are dependent on the support of a small, but ever-growing dedicated group of volunteers. Funding is provided mostly through individual membership and subscription fees, with additional funds raised through events, camps and sales of merchandise.
Brighton Cougars Basketball Club believes it’s important as a community club to be run by a committee chosen buy its members. The committee is elected each year and seeks to make sure the running of the club is open and as smooth as possible.
