Wife and I saw Simple Minds on the 3rd June 2017, must say they rocked the place down, they are still a top band. In the Dome we got their just after the doors opened we thought we'd have a beer or two well got to say the larger was terrible we could not drink it. Also we wanted a drink during the show but when I went to get one at 9ish the bar was shut couldn't even get a soft drink. Not a spoiler yet it would have been nice to get a drink at 9 at night.
Unfortunately I can’t make it to an upcoming event (was traveling from Dublin) but the staff resold my tickets and everyone I dealt with was more than helpful and friendly! Looking forward to getting over another time. Thanks again to the staff :)
The Dome is a great venue, I've been to a few shows/gigs there over the years (most recently The Levellers and Sarah Milligan) and even performed on stage there myself once upon a time.
Last night (Russell Howard's Round The World Tour) was the first time I've ever sat up in the Circle and even though I was 1 row from the back my view was unhindered.
An awesome time was had by all!
Saw Kevin &Karen Dance last night - great show in a lovely venue. Drinks were a bit pricey even considering that there is always a mark up and, of course, there could be more toilets but what an amazing building. Staff were friendly and helpful , we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
Saw Karen and Kevin Clifden here 2 nights ago. Seats are in an arc and all face the stage so no twisting of neck to see. The staff were all extremely polite and pleasant. They even have free water on the bar which was very welcome on such a hot night. I haven't seen this is any of the London theatres I have visited over the years, so well done Brighton Dome
Me and my family have seen so many great shows here since moving to Brighton. Can't wait for the new venues to open after the refurb going on, hope there will be some good world music gigs in the studio.
Love the Dome. Karen and Kevin Clifton, their troupe, the orchestra and singers were all top drawer. Thoroughly enjoyable and full of admiration for two full hours of entertainment. Thank you.
It's my first time in Brighton Dome and I really like it. Crews are very helpful on the stage setting up our music instruments. I will recommend this place..
I haven't been to the Dome for years. What a lovely venue. Not sure when it was refurbished but it looked great and is a perfect size.. We have a good view from the stalls. Comfy seats and a generally fab experience.
I have seen soooo many excellent shows here. The seats are comfy and even though I'm short I can actually see shows, which is fab and at standing gigs there is plenty of space and places to make sure you can see everything.
I booked a ticket for Eurovision You Decide on 7th February. I am on the autistic spectrum so was a bit anxious about seating, what would happen during the show, noise but was determined to go and enjoy it. I contacted the Dome and the helpful access team sorted me out a good seat in the stalls. Just a week before the event they contacted me saying that I would be moved to the other side because the block they’d put me in was unavailable. That was great and really good of them to let me know.
On the actual day, all the staff were great, I accidentally went into the box office when they called for if people had tickets, but it turned out to be for people picking up tickets. Instead of being asked to re-queue outside I was allowed to wait in the box office then merge in with everyone going in.
During the show, there was a steward nearby at the top of the block and there was also one very near me, not always the same person but they were all super helpful, always checking if I was ok. When someone on my row knocked over my drink, Lisa got me a fresh glass of water and was super helpful about it.
It was a wonderful evening and I headed home feeling very happy.
If you have anxiety about noise or any form of mental or physical disability then do not hesitate to book an event at the Brighton Dome, they are all amazing.
Had a fab time last night with my friend ellie at the dome, we went to see Russell Howard & it was an amazing show pity it's his last performance but will be on DVD & Netflix, Brighton done is an excellent place to go 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great acts, great value and a venue full of charm and character!
First time last night for Rag'n'bone man concert, not too long to queue , nice staff, great space with bars etc. Fab intimate venue . Only negative feedback would be the gents toilets, more urinals would be best as queued right near bar, not great issue tbh :-)
Fabulous venue. Stunning and roomy. Not a bad seat in the place. Definitely need more bar staff, it takes forever to get served and a surprising lack of security, not even a bag check in place on the door.
Brighton Dome go the extra mile for accommodating disabled loo users @brightondome You have a fabulous loo with extra space in the Court building. Thanks. Had a great #bladderchat today with my friend about how much that helps me #health #disabled #disabilities #invisibledisabilities
Adam Buxton was mother flippin great wasn't he! I think so. Clearly great content but presented with warmth and a unique quirky brilliant humour. And loved the fact you got a stub back to leave in the interval to go to the pub to avoid the queues at the bar. Best show I've seen in a long time. Well done Adome.
The Brighton Dome offers a great musical experience as the venue is fairly small compared to the big stadiums. The staff was very professional and helpful. Fairly clean and tidy. It's not 5 stars as I feel they need more toilets, the queues were staggering. But I would definitely go again and I highly recommend it.
I love this venue! Saw Kool & The Gang last night, just the right size venue. Lots of dancing and staff always friendly. Only negative was no draught beer, no lager then later on no cider, luckily the cans were cool so ok 👌🏽
