About Brighton Electricity Football Club

Brighton Electricity FC are a multi award winning FA Charter Standard grassroots football club run by dedicated volunteers and famous for wearing their unique brown kit. Formed in the 1930s as the local Electricity Board's football team, the club rose from Division 10 of the Brighton, Hove & District League to the Premier Division during the 1960s, 70s and 80s and were recently promoted to The Southern Combination Football League in 2018. Having graced the local Brighton parks for decades, since 2014 the club have played their home games at local community venue - Withdean Stadium - formerly Brighton & Hove Albion's temporary stadium.
