Our dementia friendly gardening group starts today! We have such a lovely time with these groups. It's a great opportunity for those living with dementia to get outside and spend some time in nature doing some gentle activities together. Carers are welcome to attend as well.
There's still plenty of time to sign up as this free group runs until the end of October, if you know someone who might benefit, don't hesitate to get in touch. Our dementia friendly cookery starts in June as well.
For more details call us on 01273 235 810, email info@bhfood.org.uk or head here for information and to download an application form https://bhfood.org.uk/get-iŌĆ”/dementia-f riendly-food-project/

The team over at Common Ground, who are part of the Stanmer Organics cooperative, are Crowdfunding so they can offer a safe place in nature for marginalised groups in the community to come and learn and share knowledge about food growing, cooking and other land-based skills while reconnecting with the earth, themselves and each other.
They're just over halfway towards their goal and any support you can give them is appreciated.
