About Brighton Japan Festival

Brighton Japan Festival @ Moshi Moshi sponsored By Asahi

Brighton Japan Festival Description

Between June 17 and June 26, Brighton will become immersed in oriental culture as the Brighton Japan festival launches its third successive annual city-wide celebration of Japanese food, art, culture and film.

Founded by Brighton original and best loved Japanese restaurant Moshi Moshi and sponsored by Asahi beer, the festival has been expanded to include a number of new partners including regional music promoters Melting Vinyl, the Brighton Dome, The tourism Alliance and Brighton and Hove City Council.

Performances and events will take place across the city’s most prestigious venues, including Brighton Dome & Pavilion Theatre, Duke of York’s Picturehouse, Hotel Du Vin, and Moshi Moshi, making Brighton Japan the biggest annual showcase of modern and traditional Japanese culture in the UK. The focal point of the festival will be the Festival Hub, a bespoke tented space transformed into a seductive Tokyo Bar Lounge, located in front of Moshi Moshi on Bartholomew square.

Exclusive offers at the festival events and shops, bars, clubs and restaurants around town, plus a free limited edition festival t-shirt and bag will be available to holders of the Brighton Japan VIP pass, which are now on sale.
