Life presents challenges that young people are ill-equipped to deal with; as such, half of all lifetime mental health problems emerge by the age of fourteen and 75% by twenty-four. Early intervention and the therapeutic support that Bright Paths provide offer children the best possible chance of building resilience and recovery before they become overwhelmed and potentially require clinical interventions. Bright Paths believe that if young people have access to emotional and wellbeing support, they have a greater chance of building effective coping strategies and are more likely to thrive and back from life challenges. Bright Paths provide a range of interventions to support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people. By working closely with parents, carers and schools, our holistic approach nurtures lasting behavioural changes. We can help in many situations, including supporting those with emerging mental health concerns, low self-esteem or presenting with challenging behaviour. We are also experienced in assisting students with neurological disorders such as ASD and ADHD. Being a child-centred organisation, our team pride ourselves on building bespoke intervention plans to suit individual circumstances and ability. We employ a wide range of proven strategies that can typically improve emotional wellbeing, reduce barriers to learning, improve attendance and decrease the likelihood of fixed-term and permanent exclusions.
