Brimstone - Uxo

Recruited from the three services – Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force – Brimstone rapidly deploys EOD trained personnel across the UK to manage unexploded ordnance (UXO) risk. Brimstone remains the only Ministry of Defence assured explosive ordnance clearance and conventional munitions disposal contractor in the UK – delivering safe UXO clearance to former and active air weapon ranges in multiple locations. We retain a number of security cleared individuals, hold Section 5 authority, as well as licences to acquire and keep explosives in three counties. With a focus on innovation, we have a range of technologies at our disposal and are early adopters of unmanned aerial vehicle technology in the UXO sector. Demonstrating the success of Brimstone's system in 2017 as Army Warfighting Experiment finalists, as well as using machine learning, artificial intelligence, and mathematical modelling, for applications in commercial EOD, security, and defence.
