We won a weekend here on one of the Facebook competitions they hosted. What a weekend as a family of four with two young children and a busy work life my husband and I rarely get a weekend free together to spend time with eachother. This was the most relaxing and peaceful weekend we’ve had in ages. We stayed in one of the pods and it had the most comfortable bed and a lovely tv with a DVD player and tea making facilities. It was spotless with a high standard of decor. The washroom was so clean and had everything you could possibly need with a small kitchenette area. Lovely powerful shower and clean towels provided also miniature shower gels. The local town of howden is a peaceful community with a few family friendly pubs and local shops and restaurants. Everybody made us feel so welcome and was so chatty. We drove to York which was about a half hour drive away I would highly recommend for a day of sight seeing and shopping. Overall we had a absolutely amazing time and can not wait to visit in the future.

We have just spent a lovely family of 6 break at Bluebell Cottage and it was fantastic! A cosy, eco cottage on a lovely farm, where our little boy loved seeing the animals (lots of piglets) and playing outside amongst the beautiful countryside. The cottage was unbelievably well-equipped and the welcome pack was perfect ha! We’ll def be back!

User

We had a wonderful holiday in the cottage with our 4 year old and 5 month old. Lovely and quiet, relaxing and has everything you could want from a holiday cottage. Brilliantly situated for visiting York, Hull and other tourist areas. Would definitely come back :-)

My partner booked our family a weekend away and was told it was at Brind Retreats. Didn’t know what to expect, but on arrival, I was blown away by the accommodation. It was breathtaking, idyllic and quite frankly beautiful ! It is set in a peaceful location.

The cottage was equipped with everything you would need and more.

We were greeted by Carol, Who is extremely friendly and she shown us to our cottage. Our stay was just perfect. Highly recommend this place, and we will be returning often.
