As of today you'll now be able to preorder and collect your BYO essentials *REMINDER WE ARE CLOSED MONDAYS, FIRST COLLECTION TUESDAY).This is new to us so please bear with us while we try to give you the best service we can.⁣ ⁣ We'll be offering our 'normal' service in addition to collection. We have now closed BYO Household and moved the essentials over to BYO Grocery - post to follow. We are serving customers one at a time and are asking you to please form a queue, 2 meters... from each other outside the shop. As much as you can, please do come prepared with an idea and a list of what you’re buying - it helps reduce waiting times for others.⁣ ⁣ ORDERS FOR COLLECTION⁣ ⁣ Download the product range file and choose which products you would like from the list.⁣ ⁣ Email the order through to orders@byoshop.co.uk - for example - white basmati 400g, red lentils 200g, 100g chocolate buttons 💚⁣ ⁣ We will endeavour to get your order ready by 2pm (not 12pm as per the newsletter) the following day, if not earlier. We will email you to let you know when your order is ready, whether we have everything in stock, and how much it will be.⁣ ⁣ Simply come to the store to pick up your order, we will have it ready for you, all you have to do is tap your card. Liquids will have to be filled when you come to pick up, so please bring your bottles.⁣ ⁣ Please ensure you bring enough reusable bags to transport your order home. And a massive shout out to our team for their unbelievable hard work and positivity. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We are putting these measures in place for the health and wellbeing of our community, customers and BYO team. ⁣⁣... ⁣⁣ •We are now a cashless business, and will not be accepting any cash payments. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •The BYO team are now going to be serving all customers (Grocery only). We understand this will impact waiting times, but we hope you’ll feel more comfortable as a result. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •New limits on purchasing: ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1kg max on any item ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 8kg max total purchase ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This does not mean you can’t revisit another time, we just need to control the flow of customers. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ •As of tomorrow we may ask that you use our brown paper bags, and might not be accepting jars and containers. During this time we are witnessing the very best of humanity when it comes to supporting the most vulnerable in our communities, and we want to do as much as we can to help support them.
We're working closely with the Nunhead Rocks Facebook group who have launched Nunhead Knocks - helping to coordinate support and requests for help for... people self-isolating in Nunhead, Peckham Rye and Queens Road.
The Nunhead Community is setting up a “triage” system to get people the help they need during the Coronavirus outbreak. If you need help or want to volunteer, please check out their website and get in touch.
They are currently working on support systems for food donations and delivery, developing ways to reach groups who are not online and harder to reach communities and individuals. If you can spare your time, skills, contacts or just spread the word, we would be super grateful. The BYO team x

What's your favourite pancake combination? Sweet or savoury? 🥞⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Given that we have a 🥜 peanut butter refill machine 🥜 we'll be having plenty of that on ours...plus any combination of maple syrup, cacao nibs, goji berries, maybe adding a bit of maca or baobab superfood powders to the mix, flax, hemp....you name it!!! All available packaging free from BYO 💚⁣ ⁣... ⁣ Pancakes are a great source of fuel and depending what you choose to put in and on yours (no refined sugar please) can be a great source of fiber, protein, healthy fats, calcium, amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals 💪🏻⁣
