Bristol Airport

Has vastly improved in recent years to be a high standard for a regional airport boasting some good routes. Car parking/rental and ease of access is good, plenty of bus links although pricey, clean layout of the airport making a simple process through security etc, suprisingly good facilities inside the airport, little distances to gates. Only issues are; it really is not in Bristol but that is common with most airports favoured by budget airlines where customers are used to a longer onward travel, no smoking areas which are clear outside with none inside and general flight ticket prices are higher here compared to other local airports. Always a pleasure to use however.

It appears that this airport has gone a recent rebuild and I have to say it compares well to any other regional airport I have been to. There are areas that are still in the process of being improved such as the long stay carpark and at 5am in the morning there was no issue finding spaces as we were directed to them. Baggage check in, security and plentiful shops make a decent outward experience. On the way back in passport control and baggage claim equally stress free. It is a shame this airport is not on a motorway but maybe over time the road links will be improved.

Decent service all round. Very fast, security was simple. However options were a bit lacking if your not into Burger King/MacDonalds

Felling thirsty? Here's a P.G tip: if you don't have a clear plastic bag for security, do not buy one!! Grab any bag you can and use it. Once at the check, a security personnel will simply ask you to change the bag, offering one for you free of charge. Slam dunk, drink with milk. Enjoy.

Very helpfull staff would recommend Bristol airport to anyone outside of Bristol. Security very quick to get through and friendly. Money very well spent on upgrading the airport, very small duty free and a good choice of shops but not enough.

Got inside the terminal, through baggage drop off then upstairs to security and through in under 30 minutes. Polite, helpful staff, very efficient. Both terminal extensions make have made such a massive difference and things run a lot smoother. Feels like a big airport!

Missed flight - half an hour wait at "fast track" security. OK, I wasn't there 2 hours before the flight (as the supervisor reminded me) but I was only on hand luggage and had fast track? The real kicker was the smug arrogance of the supervisor, no interest in why I was so late and definitely not bothered about getting passengers to their destinations - only threatening them and making sure everyone knew what an important man he was. For example the poor woman who had already waited 20 minutes and was trying to help speed things up only to be told "get your hands out of the bag or you won't be flying today" - anybody would think they'd seen a handgun in her bag rather than a 20ml bottle of perfume. Now I remember why I've used Heathrow for the last 6 months.

I would like to thank all of the staff involved in giving me assistance at Bristol Airport. I nearly cancelled my holiday due to a fall a few days before my flight. This service was fantastic. All the staff were efficient and caring. I appreciate their kindness toward me and your service enabled me to have my holiday. Thank You. (Flight to Alicante Tues 2/5/17 approx 18.00hrs and return 9/5/17 midnight)

Great little airport with good transport links. Remember where you parked though as the car park is a nightmare and a rip off. Shops and restaurants are getting better as the airport expands.

Parked in the Silver Zone car park. My wife and I had 2 large bags, 1 push chair, 1 car seat, 2 carry on bags and a 3 year old. There are no trolleys here, so struggled 1/4 mile to the bus. Staff not interested in helping. No problem we thought we can get a trolley in the terminal only to find you have to pay?? I mean WTF. Landed on Edinburgh and funnily enough the trolleys at free there...
